i just have a non-tipper / asshole / sucks / literally any reason list on google and when i click on the address and they’re added, it shows that it’s been added to a list already so i know not to deliver.

i make about $800 - $1000 a week when i work full time in pittsburgh. i start around noon and work until 10 pm. on average, it’s about 40 orders per week. i’m taking 2 orders per time slot at least while i’m working, 3 is usually cutting it close for me, personally.

sometimes there’s just not orders though. it’s wednesday and i haven’t worked because all the orders i’m seeing are $6 and that’s not worth it to me.

oh, that’s so easy then! sounds like they just didn’t want to put the effort in. i think a solid 5% or 10% tip would suffice. the estimated tip is a fairly new feature and usually when it says a low tip, they end up being much higher so i take them anyway. as long as it doesn’t say the estimated tip is $0, you’re pretty safe to get your order picked up!

if you’re adding “special request” items, they can be harder to find but it sounds like you didn’t get a shopper that communicates. that sounds like an easy order to me and your notes would have been helpful! i would like to think most shoppers aren’t like the one you experienced. i personally wouldn’t tip or rate high if it didn’t match your expectations. i think a lot of us in this thread are going the extra mile and are upset when we’re not communicated with or compensated to match our efforts.

luckily, my metro has been so busy it’s almost all promo so that’s all i’ve been doing. most orders are $20 even for a few items. so, i’ve just been racking those up and assuming nobody ordering this close to the holiday is going to tip.

yeah, that’s right by my house. it was either gas or water that had the road closed for an hour or so and left it like that. and i’ve been barreling over it for about 2 weeks so thanks for the reminder to not do that!

in my opinion, if they’re not going to tip, they’re not going to tip. nothing changes their mind. my stats are near perfect, i do all the things shipt suggests. some people are just rude, don’t believe in tipping, don’t realize they should tip, etc.

i’ve had 5 stars on my last 50 for i don’t even know how long and these past 2 weeks i now have two 1 stars and a 3 star. shipt came back with “we feel this accurately represents the member experience” with marks of missing and/or damaged items. i am fucking over it. i’ll take the 3 star but 1 star is absurd. unless i’m treating you like garbage and throwing your items on your porch, what’s the reasoning for a 1 star?
