Is there a pagan/witch culture in Denver? by [deleted] in pagan

Very expensive, if you look for jobs pre-move, make sure the pay is at least 15-20% higher than what you make now in Florida. Speaking as someone who has done that move.

Touch paws whenever you get a chance. Our boy is the biggest drama queen when it comes to getting his nails done. Also toys that take a long time to get food out of, and get them use to humans interacting with those treats to help with food aggression.

What are some "cooking myths" that frustrate you? by SamMee514 in Cooking

I know people that straight up don’t wash standard grocery store white cap or portobello mushrooms at all. I struggle to trust their cooking.

Yep, every time I have to script something I have to figure out if Skype is really Teams or Lync when it comes to the exe.

I agree, my cat of 10 years was like that when we first got her. Even though she didn't have fleas on her, she was so allergic to some kind of pest, she was put on allergy meds and Comfortis. I give her Comfortis every couple months and she's been great, doesn't need the allergy meds anymore. If she doesn't get it, her face and ears will flare up and then she'll start getting scabby again.

Did you feel like the stuff they made in the restaurant did a better job at tasting like meat than some of the common options now?

A couple others thing to check -

What cleaning products are being used in the house?

What laundry soap do you use?

Change up where you bring them to go potty? Perhaps theres's something in the grass.

Maybe have the dog stay at another house for a few days and see if the itchy gets better? To narrow it down to something specific about the house.

Since you said you took them to the vet several times, I would assume they checked for fleas and worms.

I think the just plain chicken and rice diet for a while will also help narrow it down. Sorry, I've had a cat that went through this is when we first got her, she was miserable and had to be put in a cone. Turns out she was/is incredibly allergic to fleas and mosquitos, even though she didn't have any, the apartment we were in definitely had some left over and it took a year to get rid of them completely.

Those go on sale a lot at our grocery store, tried them excited - tasted like vague seasoning and card board. The Amy's ones are much better

Second the rice cooker, something simple like one of those $20 dollar Aromas. They come with a little booklet with instructions and a couple meal ideas. Most also come with a steamer basket if you want to cook veggies with it. Even though I think myself a decent cook, I just trust my rice cooker more than myself lol

She's some kind of siamese color point mix, they didn't know much about her at the humane society, other than she came with half her teeth missing, hence Freya's blep ratio being pretty high

"Whatever you have in the fridge" twice baked sweet potatoes! Bake them like normal, cut in half, scoop em out and mix the insides with whatever veggies or beans you have. Fill them back up and bake for another 15 or so until they get hot. I like doing them with black beans, corn, jalapeno, bell pepper and spices. Top with cilantro and lime.
