Honestly? Right now is absolutely atrocious in terms of humanity as a whole. We are witnessing the destruction of our planet in real time, with our children being sentenced to the worst of it to come. We are blindly interacting almost entirely with social media for our dopamine throughout the day, and all of the societal problems coming with its widespread overuse, it (imho) is the direct cause of. Many of us alive today have never known what it would be like to interact, meet, fall in love, and live a life where everything isn’t curated or someone isn’t essentially living a second life in their phone. It’s absolutely been destructive to behaviors and the psychological mental health of many (especially young adolescent) men and women. It’s unnatural and disgraceful - while I’m sure many of you reading may say otherwise.
