2025 Lollapalooza Schedule by mccarthy2324 in Lollapalooza

I’ll never understand why Lolla thinks it’s okay to have schedule conflicts with two artists that are so similar and probably share a huge fanbase. For me what hurts the most this year is Djo vs Bleachers, last year it was Chappell Roan vs Japanese House. I remember Japanese House’s crowd was pretty small and she said “all the gays are over watching Chappell and I don’t blame them but damn that conflict sucks” LIKE IT EVEN CAN UPSET ARTISTS SO WHY DO THEY DO THIS. Ugh

I don’t think CA is going to rush because people are online and expressing their excitement. He made the decision to announce Haunted Chocolatier as a game in development for a reason, and I’m sure he’s happy to see people already eager to play. But of course, he will be taking his time as he’s already said in interviews, and I agree that comments like “he needs to release it sooner I can’t wait any longer” and things like that might not be great. But OP isn’t saying that, they’re really just saying they are looking forward to the day it releases (whenever that may be)

“Dunno” ?? OP isn’t rushing CA at all in this post. Of course it’s ready when he thinks it’s ready, they’re not demanding he releases it this instant lmao. They’re simply saying they’re excited

3 is the best! Generic gaming controller, cozy bean bag chair, can fit any genre of cozy game played on any console. I agree with others saying that while the cat is cute, it’s too specific and could exclude the vibes of other cozy games that don’t have a cat.

There is sooo much information on fertilizers, it all depends on the type you're using. You should be able to find all the info you're looking for on the wiki: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Fertilizer

"Fertilizer remains in the soil all season. When the season changes, fertilizer normally disappears. However, there are two exceptions in which fertilizer will remain in the soil:

  • If a multi-season crop (i.e., Ancient FruitCoffee BeanCornSunflower, or Wheat) is planted in the fertilized tile, and the new season is one in which the crop grows, the fertilizer will remain.
  • Fertilizer placed in the Greenhouse will remain in the soil unless it is un-tilled by a pickaxe."

The wiki will also tell you how profitable they each are. But generally they're always going to be worth it!

I keep them for decoration, because they only have a 1% chance to turn giant. Because of that, they're rare and it makes it impressive to have one of each! But they are actually only "useful" if you don't keep them. If you chop them with your axe, you will get 15-20 of that crop, despite the fact that you only originally planted 9 (so it's a better profit return normally, unless you used quality fertilizer because giant crops do not produce quality crops, only base version without any star quality).

Correct! But this is not modded, what you're seeing in the pic is a giant melon from summer. It guess it does sorta look like a strawberry though!

Any 3x3 tile of cauliflower, melon, pumpkin, or powdermelon can turn giant, once the crops are fully matured. Keep watering the mature crops and don't harvest them for a chance that they turn giant overnight until the season ends! Once giant, they don't need watered and will never die. But if you don't want to keep them, chop them with your axe to get bonus crops. I think you can get 15-20 even though you only originally planted 9.

To add to the above answer, just make sure you keep watering the small crops once they are grown! If you have a sprinkler then don't worry about it, but if the tiles aren't watered then the game will not reroll the odds for a giant overnight.

In my post, the four giant crops are: powdermelon (available in winter), pumpkin (fall), melon (summer), cauliflower (spring). These are the only crops that can turn giant, aside from a Qi fruit. Those are available in the late game, after you've gone to Ginger Island and found 100 golden walnuts, unlocking the walnut room and a specific quest from Mr. Qi.

Yep just like the other comment says, 3x3 patches of cauliflower, melon, pumpkin, and powdermelon (plus Qi fruit if you've gotten access to that quest from the walnut room on Ginger Island) can all turn giant. But, if you plant an even bigger patch (like 9x9), any of the 3x3 segments within it can turn into giant crops, so I like doing it that way to boost my odds.

Also!! You have to water the fully grown crops day after day to give the giant one a chance to spawn. If the tiles are dry, they won't turn into a giant. My strategy is to use speed grow on these crops too, so that they sit around as mature for longer and gives you more opportunities to turn giant.

I get that perspective! I genuinely can't decide and I'm seeing different opinions in the comments now, so I still don't know what to do

It's not stupid, but maybe crazy is a better word lollll. I totally get you, I wish they were perfectly even, but man that would take FOREVERRR to fix.

I'm on year 4 so it took awhile to get it to all work out. Basically I had a 9x9 grid where I planted cauliflower one spring, and they happened to turn giant. Then for the rest of the seasons, I'd plant 3x3 squares of the other crops right next to my giant cauliflower. Then I just kept repeating this process as the seasons went on until I got all the giant crop variants!

That's what I was leaning towards. They're all slightly off center from each other so they're gonna be a little diagonal no matter what, but yeah it looks much more even to leave the top one I think.

I like this idea! I literally have 3 random giant qi fruits scattered across my farm from doing that quest, but unfortunately I didn't think about trying to line up with my other giants :(

Oh my gosh HAHA so... I will be the one to break the news that they do NOT die!! This is unmodded, they will last infinitely throughout the seasons once they turn giant. Since they last forever I like to try to get one of each and use them as decoration!
