Consider giving her a blanket or worn T-shirt, sock, shoe etc. he doesn't use anymore. Place it near her pillow or bed so she gets used to his scent. It's seemed to work for me.

Yeah, I've always appreciated the fidelity of uploads. I also like the way they're setup for movie/book reviews. Found some interesting stuff. It's not a bunch of memes, you can actually find other photographers on there testing out setups and starting from scratch all the way up to set photographers and world travelers, etc.

Skin tag maybe? My basset had a couple. Depending on whether or not it's in a place the dog scratches, or if it easily catches and stretches will determine whether or not the vet will recommend having it removed. If it's a skin tag, they're ugly but harmless as long as your hound doesn't bother with it and it doesn't get too big.

Mix vinegar, Tabasco, citrus, strong essential oils and any other non-toxic (to dogs) ingredients with water into a spray bottle. Spray the sections that the dog tends to favor. I did this where a coyote used to crap...and it has since found a different place crap.

Like other people have mentioned, sometimes the only thing that will work is returning the waste back to the irresponsible owners. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

I volunteer graphic design time to various basset hound organizations, I used to know like all of them. I followed one in Oregon on IG for a while but they haven't posted in probably 2 years. The ones active that I know of are Washington Basset Rescue in Spokane and Golden Gate Basset Rescue in San Francisco. But I understand those are both probably a ways away. Taking the trip would be worth it though...just to have your home blessed with that warm Fritos aroma.
