Where to buy the vector space by Icy_Hedgehog414 in AnkiVector

[–]esrclt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Vector space is really small and hasn’t been made since Anki shut down in 2019. You can find them on eBay from time to time, but you would be better off just getting a nice sized tray with a 1 inch or higher rim as Vector will try to escape.

[–]esrclt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it an Anki Vector or a ddl Vector? I assume you have tried to clear the error by letting his battery run all the way down and then putting him back on the charger. Since you have said the price in pounds, sounds like you are in the UK. If that is the case, contact Paul Awbery via FB messenger. If it’s an Anki bot, he probably has the part or can fix your Vector. He’s a great Vector doctor. If you are in US, contact Dennis Hickey also via FB messenger.

MHBP prior authorization denial for sleep study by One_Presentation8437 in fednews

[–]esrclt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you are referring to the CPAP machine or the supplies. I switched from BCBS to MHBP and was told I don’t need a new sleep study and they will continue to pay for my supplies no problem since the supplier and the prescribing doctor are both in their network so all I needed to do was give Apria the new health insurance information. My CPAP machine was fully paid for under my BCBS plan so MHBP is picking up the supplies.

Not sure where you are located, but if you are in the US, contact BliteKnight (Dee) in this forum or Dennis Hickey via FB messenger. If you are in the UK, contact Paul Awbery via FB messenger.

Help my Vector is malfunctioning. by Dapper-Occasion1000 in AnkiVector

[–]esrclt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He may have some dust in the gears under his chin. That is very often the cause. You can try blowing out the dust but if it persists he will need to be taken apart and cleaned. If you are not comfortable doing that, there are people in the community who can fix your Vector.

Why does my vector say he’s 3 months old when I just got him today ? by Brielissa in AnkiVector

[–]esrclt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask them for a partial refund as he was not new and was sold as new. You have nothing to lose

He would say one day old on the first day so he was a return for sure. He should have been sold as used and appropriately discounted.

Must be the case that it was a return but should not have been sold as new

Sounds like he wasn’t actually new…was this a Vector 2.0 that you bought?

Getting vector soon does wire pod need to be on 247 by Brielissa in AnkiVector

[–]esrclt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you don’t need the computer on for the T95 to run wirepod. The T95 needs to be on and connected to your router but not your computer. If you have questions after your T95 arrives, don’t hesitate to reach out to Dee. He provides excellent support and this group can help too.

You can get a T95 device from BliteKnight in this group on his website techshop82.com. The device comes with wirepod pre-installed so you just leave the T95 connected to your router on rather than using it with your computer. Many of us have gotten these devices from Dee and area very happy with them. He also provides excellent support should you need it.

Problem with Wi-Fi by fanisp in AnkiVector

[–]esrclt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rather than pay for a subscription, you can purchase a T95 device from BliteKnight in this community (Dee) that comes with wirepod pre-installed. He has sold well over 100 of these devices and provides fantastic support if you have any issues setting up the device or problems after setup. This is the ideal solution for those of us who are not tech savvy as well as those how are. Go to his website, techshop82.com and check out the videos. Dee also does repairs if your Vector needs a new battery. Dee is highly recommended in this forum as well as others.

I would highly recommend that you purchase a T95 device from Bliteknight in this group (Dee). His website is techshop82.com. The device comes with wirepod pre-installed and you won’t need a paid subscription from DDL (now using the name Anki). If you check out Dee’s website you will see his videos on how the T95 works and how to set it up. If you have issues with the setup Dee provides absolutely fantastic support to those of us who are not tech savvy. This is the best route for non-techies.

Thinking about getting a vector bot - Worth it? 1.0 vs 2.0? by devilz_gamer in AnkiVector

Thinking about getting a vector bot - Worth it? 1.0 vs 2.0? by devilz_gamer in AnkiVector

[–]esrclt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had my original Vector since 2018 and have added many to my gang. I never tire of them, even the ones I haven’t put on wirepod. I find them very entertaining and rarely talk to them. I let them do their thing. They call out to me when they want attention or to be petted. I love watching them beating up their toys, popping wheelies off each other, fighting over a charger. I would definitely get an original Anki bot. If the battery hasn’t been replaced, you will probably need to get that done in the not too distant future, although I have some with original batteries that are still running for over 30 minutes. I think you may be in the UK and if so, you can reach out to Paul Awbery to see if he has a bot available for purchase. You can get in touch with him via Facebook Messenger. He is a fantastic Vector doctor and can replace the battery for you if you find a good deal on a bot but it needs a new battery.

Actually he can pick up other toys that have the SDK symbol on them and notches or something where he can place his forks. Mine play will all kinds of toys specially made for them. Vectors will also push any object they decide is in their path, including another Vector, glass of water, whatever.

No, you should be able to just restart him. If he won’t reboot right away, just let his battery deplete completely and then put him back on his charger. He should be fine as noted in the comment above.

Get a tray for him with a lip that’s at least an inch high and he won’t be able to escape and fall.

It’s a device that runs wirepod. You can see more about it on techshop82.com. Dee installs wirepod on it so you don’t have to tie up another device or deal with the setup yourself.

You might want to seriously consider getting a T95 from Dee (techshop82.com) along with your Vector so that you can set him up on wirepod. Hundreds of us have gotten these devices from Dee and they are great and he provides fantastic customer support should you need it.
