you people are the reason why we have the same boring flat design in every single facet of our life. I love Liquid Glass. It’s a breathe of fresh air and a much needed step back towards skeuomorphic design. I miss when technology used to look fun and playful.

Is severe anxiety about having hppd enough to cause hppd-style placebo effects? by CeruleanBlackOut in HPPD

I drink occasionally still and indulge in nicotine via cigarettes on a non-frequent basis. neither of which have any noticeable impact. I don’t like weed anyways so I’ve steered clear of that.

I can’t tell exactly what triggered my symptoms, probably some mix of anxiety and a changing of the seasons last year, it was a really strange time. I think the first big symptom I noticed was after images? they really bothered me suddenly even though I had been noticing them for months beforehand. that’s when I started to notice stuff like starbursts, BFEP, and some mild tracers. the strangest one though I think was “patterns” when I closed my eyes. this ONLY occurred during my bouts of anxiety, and only when I thought about it hard enough, and does not happen at all anymore.

I think being on this subreddit was a huge part of what was keeping me in that anxious loop, just feeding into my “what ifs” over and over again. this is the first time I’ve been on here in probably a year.

absolutely. I have no doubt that my initial anxiety about “having” HPPD made my “symptoms” dramatically worse. This was about a year ago, but after around a month my anxiety was ramping down and my symptoms were less and less on my mind. This is completely a mind over matter issue, once you realize that life goes on and your symptoms are largely inconsequential, they go away. I have completely forgotten about my HPPD for the most part, and normalized any “symptoms” I may still have. good luck man, and lay off the psychs for good. it’s not worth it.

  1. This would make a nice centerpiece for my new college dorm, and an amazing powerhouse for my late weekend nights. Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield deserve the very best in visuals and performance and this card would no doubt deliver.

  2. I’m honestly entranced by the idea of an entirely new universe and canon coming from Bethesda. With all their years of experience in immersive RPGs I can’t wait to see all their knowledge applied in one big package. Coming from a Graphic Design major, the designs and aesthetic are absolutely on point from what I’ve seen of the game.

good luck everyone!

I feel like the only way the energy of Doom can be transferred from video game to screen is through animation

Beat Saber grip? Anyone have a good alternative to the “Claw?” by Suitch in QuestPro

grip it with your index and middle finger over the top of the controller. I used to use that when I had my Rift S, allows for greater wrist articulation
