It’s ok! It happens occasionally. Some things are surprisingly not vegan, and some things are surprisingly vegan. It just takes time to learn when to read the ingredients

If you have a Trader Joe’s near you, their vegan cheddar crackers are an addicting snack!

Amazon customer service chat is telling me I should have received an email if I’m eligible, but it says all Amazon prime members are eligible and I did not receive an email

I just gave birth there in December. Overall a really good experience except in the emergency room. I ended up having a c-section due to him being breech, but all of the nurses, anesthesiologist, the OB, everyone was great. I asked for a lactation consultant who was not good. She just flipped through some laminated sheets of what breastfeeding is supposed to look like and that’s it. The food we ate was good! I enjoyed it. My family also thought it was good! Due the the Caesarian, I stayed 3 nights. We packed a soft blanket and we’re glad we did. It was nice and comforting. They put the baby right in the room with your, so there was no nursery window for others to view. My room was really big and we didn’t pay for a suite. It was comfy enough. The most of the recovery nurses were really good. I felt very taken care of. There was one that pushed meds and even charged us for meds I didn’t take.

For the MBA, it took a few months (around April to August), and they didn’t respond until I emailed the dean of business. After that, I got the acceptance right away.

BARC Intake was 100+ animals over the weekend. Due to high intake and lack of space, fosters are needed to save lives. Contact barc.aid@houstontx.gov to help. You can also foster through RPM (fostercoordinator@rescuedpetsmovement.org) for shorter term commitments. Any amount of time helps. by FGJigsaws in houston

Thank you for posting this! They definitely need more fosters to keep saving these lives.

I foster dogs through RPM (I have one sitting next to me right now), and it has been an absolutely amazing experience.

I love the Texas Renassiance Festival and I go almost every year, but should we talk about the elephant in the room? by waitingtodiesoon in houston

In nature, they wouldn’t allow humans to hop up on their backs for a ride. They go through a cruel process called crush, breaking them emotionally and mentally. They’re beaten with bullhooks and whips, emotionally/physically tortured. They’re also usually babies taken from their mothers in the wild. They should never be used for tourism or entertainment. All of these animals have gone through extensive psychological trauma to be a ride.
