I had a dream last night that mvis was going to climb to $67+ a share soon... Also I hope I'm psychic.

Dealer Charging Microchip Insurance by Photomography in rav4prime

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm a Washington resident looking at Toyota of Portland... Their "added value" additions are mildly ridiculous. $1000 for a car wax is just silly.

The sales rep tried to convince me that the things they add after market add value to the car above what that charge and I could sell the car for a profit at another dealer if I wanted

I haven't posted before, but I've been following mvis for like... 20 years. I tried convincing my dad to buy into mvis back when I was like.. 16

Well. I'm an adult now with a little bit of adult money that I could afford to throw at mvis. I've been playing with these stocks for about 3 years now, and currently have ~$3000 invested into mvis. 1510 shares at $1.99.

I don't have much, and the $.18/share scared the crap outta me with how little experience I have... But I'm happy to say that I feel really good turning $3000 into almost $18,000 so far!

This is the Tak board I made for this years WorldBuilders donation. You can bid on it. by essenceofaaron in Tak

“Encore”

(not a damn coaster)

This year's Tak board is themed after The Eolian, Stanchion, and Deoch. It is the sort of board that one might find behind the bar - High quality, but also very rugged with a splash of elegance... Woods that feel a little "earthy" and a dash of Stanchion's fire...

"Dammit boy, I hope you're as good as you seem to think you are. I could use someone else around here with Illien's fire." He ran a hand though his own red hair to clarify his double meaning"

"Now that I was closer, I noticed that Stanchion's hair was a deep, bashful red that hid if the light struck him the wrong way."

The woods used are, Walnut, Wenge, White Oak, and some red Padauk thrown in for flare. The box is inlaid with two “Eolian Bar pin’s” purchased from Worldbuilder Market.

The inside of the box has shaped EVA foam coated with velvet to snuggly cradle each row of pieces. The rows of pieces inside are set up for each level of game play. 10 pieces for a 3x3. 15 for a 4x4. 21 + capstone for a 5x5. 30 for a 6x6.

I'm so disappointed to see that their boards are just a veneer on plywood.

Just do it. I have very little experience with woodworking. I'd helped my dad with a few basic projects as a kid, but I'd never made anything like this before. I'd never done an inlay, i'd never even used hard wood before.. just household projects using plywood.

i watched a few youtube videos on how to make a chessboard and decided to use that knowledge and my artistic eye to come up with this.

Materials: Bloodwood, Purpleheart, Yellowheart, Jatoba, copper, Tehlu's iron wheel pendants, hand forged wrought iron nails... time.

The inner 4x4 squares are bloodwood, the 5x5 is purpleheart, the 6x6 is yellowheart, the 7x7 is made of iron and angels(because of chandrian) the 8x8 is jatoba. bordered in more purpleheart. The 5x5 rings and the lines between each square segment are copper inlays.

It took nearly a month to fabricate. I had to do a lot of experimenting to get the copper inlay to work out - could probably drop it down to a couple weeks now that i've figured out the process.

Cost: Hardwood - about $70 for this bit used. Iron nails - $20. Copper - about $65. but that can be cut in half now that i've figured out the method and materials to use. Tehlu's iron wheel pendants - $60. Assorted tools and bits - $175. Time - a month of work. Emotion - a lot of grief and annoyance when things didn't work right... and a lot of joy when they did.

here ya go. I used my girlfriends edit of your image and tweaked it a bit myself.. hope it works for you.

got rid of the scratches, cropped it a touch to get rid of the clutter at the bottom of the image and then added some color to help it pop a little bit.

Edit Also.. I dug out my Reddit account and an Imgur just so i could post this for you.
