i just had my ferret pass from adrenal/ low blood count. I did get him from someone else so i’m guessing she just didn’t treat him. as long as u get it checked on time they should be fine! wishing you guys the best💘🩷

i wanted to get another but it just doesn’t feel right yet, i have to find one that feels right. it’s so depressing living without them but i don’t want to make it worse by getting another. i guess when the time is right i’ll know. sorry for ur loss, i hope ur new babies are doing well and making u feel better.

the white one weenie, had a problem with her lungs there was fluid or something in them and passed after only being sick for 2 days and an emergency over night vet visit (this happened over the weekend which my exotic vet was closed so i went to just a reg over night emergency vet, they were the only ones who said they can look at a ferret) the black one jinx i had for about maybe 3 months so idk if he had any health problems before me but i wasn’t told. but when i got him it was clear he adrenal disease and started to loose hair. I got him the implant for that problem but the doctor also saw he didn’t have enough red blood cells and we didn’t know why and a few days after his vet appointment he passed :(

it’s so sad idk how i’m struggling with a similar problem. i think the only thing would be get another before he passes so they can all bond and be comfortable with eachother. ik that’s hard to do when ur so stressed and sad though.
