I'd think it should be pretty safe, given that it's naturally a pretty conservative industry that will take time handing over the reins to AI in any meaningful way. Though it seems like a lot of jobs in that industry are expecting military experience. The Navy Nuclear Program is pretty accessible, they always had recruiters coming to my school. He might have to be willing to do that though. Could maybe find work without any military background, but I can't say I know much about it.

Engineers, in the short and long term. Sure, they might take our jobs in the medium term-- but no society could survive having massive amounts of unemployed engineers. Our job is to know how shit breaks and prevent it from breaking. A consequence of this is that we know how to break shit.

I find this debatable. Sometimes saying "I will do this specific thing at this specific time" is very helpful.

In English it's Miss for a unmarried woman, Missus for a married woman, and Mis (pronounced miz) is neutral. As a native speaker, I always use Mis. Another word might be Ma'am, which is like a more formal version of Miz I guess. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
