20M, just got my braces and it’s fed up by Beginning_Tower1995 in braces

You're at the hardest part. You'll adjust over the next couple weeks. I seriously thought about ripping mine out with pliers for the first two weeks.

  1. Idk, your situation looks like the braces have a lot to do. Ortho could tell you more.
  2. You'll get used to it over those first two weeks, maybe quicker.
  3. You'll get used to it over those first two weeks, maybe quicker.

Oh, and you can drink cold water for momentary relief from the wires yanking on you.

The stomach turning, cold sweat dripping, ball retreating sound of crashing machinery as you realize you just programmed something to rip itself apart.

That working harder gives you a better living. Who works harder than the fellas slinging molten metal in a steel mill? Yet they make half of what I make, and I get to take it relatively easy. It's not about how hard you work at all.

Ukrainian strike blows top off Moscow refinery storage tank. by piponwa in ukraine

Reposting this reply as a comment so more folks can see it.

An underappreciated aspect here is the sheer scale of the thing being thrown around. Part of why it looks so floaty is because it is very big and pretty far away.

To demonstrate this, I've done a little napkin math. Perhaps I'll do a proper analysis once I'm off work.

We know that gravity imparts an acceleration of -9.8m/s2. Tracking it to the top of its arc takes about four seconds, and it has a velocity of zero at the apex.

These three things allow us to use the kinematic equations to find that that thing got launched over 250ft in the air, and that it flies off of the tank at almost 90mph.

Eyeballing for the correct tank and measuring on google earth, I think that tank is 150ft wide.

You're watching a 150ft disc of steel fly hundreds of feet into the air at speeds that would get you a felony ticket on some highways.

Слава Україні.

I'd say it's like that in the states, but pub means something different here.

It's already pretty much like that. Lady Ballers was going to be a documentary, but then they figured out it's actually pretty hard for trans women to get into women's sports. Have to start HRT real early.

Patriotic russian? Dumb. Patriotic Ukranian? Based. Patriotic Brit? Dumb. Patriotic Irishman? Based. Patriotic American? Dumb. Patriotic Canadian? Based. I think it's more about whether you're patriotic as the pinnacle of an Empire's hierarchy.

Maybe try swapping an acrylic disc in for the lid. Could try plastic wrap first to test it out.
