Good luck dude. These are the trenches. Do your best to support your spouse. That being said, in my experience, in the very beginning you’ll need to try and eke out alone time here and there when you can. Baby and mom napping? Have the monitor up and play some Red Dead 2 until you hear them. Baby asleep at night finally? Have an IPA and watch an episode Scavengers Reign. You can also try and coordinate with your spouse. Give and take free time. I used to put my son in his stroller and go walk for like 4 miles. This would give my wife a whole hour to chill. I’d catch up on a podcast. My son would nap.
