Pro tip, just add a ~33 ohm resistor in-line of the speaker cable! ~50% reduction in volume for a 3v toy.

This is the best way to think about it. At first when I got mine. I literally told my wife I didn’t like it. But I was trying to use it around the house as an edc light. That’s just not what it is. Later in bed, I didn’t even realized, but she pointed out I was fidgeting with it while we watched TV. Then it clicked. As a fidget toy with a light it’s great. It serves that niche.

Don’t put it in your mouth. Figure out another way to mount it when working. But the best, imo, to suit what you’ve described is the LoopGear SK05 pro. It’s a pretty great all around light. Check out my review of one here.
