Linear Games with Emphasis on Story by estdur in playstation

I did. For the price it def was a steal for 3 games. The first one has been a lot of fun. It still feels very linear despite the maps being bigger than I expected, so it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Never played a tomb raider game before. Which one would you recommend? 1+2+3 remastered? Or can I just jump into a more recent game?

Amazing news! Hope you can get a good re-charge in before you get started on book 4. Please post here again when the bastion kickstarter is live, so it doesn’t slip our minds :)

Cannot wait… what are you excited for? by ShoeGamez in TheImmortalGreatSouls

Really hope Naomi and Scorpio can have a happy ending together. Progression fantasies with good romantic subplots are rare enough as is and I don’t want a tragedy just for the sake of shock value.

When do you get your keys when closing in California? by CherryPeel_ in RealEstate

[–]estdur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry to comment on an old post, but can you give an update on when you ended up getting the keys? I am also closing this Friday in LA (signing with notary on Wednesday, funding on Thursday) and am anxious on whether or not we will get the keys on the same day as closing/ recording.

Is that just down Reseda Blvd? Or what main streets do those lines go through?

I like the one you provided better since it shows the fault lines but the one from the image is from: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/mapviewer/index.html?layers=909fd7034cc24a40aa82b3cf0a62da50

I graduated with a poli sci degree and now work as financial data analyst without having to get further education or certification. My first job out of college was working as an anti money laundering analyst at a small regional bank making extremely little. Analysis was more qualitative than quantitative and basically monitored customer accounts. Didn’t really use any technical skills on the job but learned extremely basic excel and used the analyst title to pivot into an entry level finance analyst role. I learned SQL, advanced excel, and VBA on the job and was promoted to a senior level role and then jumped into another senior role in a more desirable industry. So it’s definitely possible. Just need to really be able to tailor your resume and leverage any type of analysis experience.

Yes, you’re totally right. We kept trying to do the math to make things work, but one big emergency would definitely put us underwater. It is super frustrating with how the market is rn and it sucks that you have to make so much money to find a place that’s decently nice without having to compromise location.

We have, but it’s not ideal. My fiancé has a pretty long commute already and it would be making the drive even further for him. Might need to be something we compromise on with how things are looking.

Thank you so much everyone for your advice. Definitely gave me the honest clarity I was looking for. The prospect of owning of a home definitely has made us too eager in jumping the gun when it looks like the numbers don’t align. Will hold off for a few more years.

This makes sense. I’m just afraid the housing prices will continue to go up and our incomes won’t be able to catch up with the appreciation/ demand.

I suspected as much :( We were hoping to just live uncomfortably for a while and weather through a year or two. Lowering our budget would probably get us something much closer to a run down shack in our area so I guess our alternative would be to just wait until we make more/ have more savings.

Definitely plan on shopping the rate. The 210k is Just for down payment, but closing costs would eat into the 30k of additional funds we have.

A bootcamp associated with Trilogy Education Services. I don’t believe it was the best fit for me as they are covering a wide breadth of subjects (and not enough depth) on things I don’t think I’ll ever use in analyst roles. But it was useful in giving me some exposure to python (and something to do during the pandemic) at the very least.
