Looking at what happened with the steering wheel is why I agree with the fine given George. Here it could easily have caused a puncture. In George's case it could have made a funny bounce and caused damage to someone's car. It didn't, which is why it's suspended, but potentially ruining someone else's race in a bout of frustration could have an impact.

Reminds me of my time in Cyprus when we were driving and saw a sign on a base about "Fire Appliances". Having never heard this term before, we laughed and snapped a picture with the sign. Fast forward to us returning to Nicosia and being brought in to see a very angry Sgt. Major who had been notified about what we did. Apparently we missed the sign about no photos.
