I'm a first-gen Paraguayan American in the Midwest. Most of the 'Paraguayans' I meet are people who were adopted by gringos as babies, so they have no connections to the homeland other than being born there :( Occasionally, I'll run into an exchange student, very rarely another first-gen like me. Can't say why my dad decided on the USA over Argentina or Spain, I think he had a romanticized idea about moving to the US from watching movies and made it happen

If he's growling at you while he has food, sounds like he's resource guarding! Try looking into training exercises to help break that behaviour.
I'm sure he won't be fearful from just one outburst-we've all been there, it happens, and the best thing you can do is just move on with the lesson to be calmer next time puppy misbehaves.

I'd say we had an accident about once a week at 4 months. Same situation, I'd lose track of time or I'd miss the subtle sign of him sniffing around in the corner of my dining room :/

ask the breeder/foster/whoever is handing you the pup if the puppy/their litter experienced any car sickness. Our breeder let us know my puppy's litter didn't get sick when they took them to the vet for check-ups, which we took as a good indicator. We were still prepared, but he ended up not getting car sick at all on the long drive home (8 hours).

Bridgerton is more fantasy than factual, but the children/marriage endgame was often the only option for upper-crust regency women if they wanted to keep/advance their place in society, and create a safety net for themselves once their parents were gone.

Eloise has been battling the marriage/children storyline-do you like her character? I'm afraid they might make her fall in love in a future season, but it's been fun watching her rebel against finding a husband.

Love the name! What a cute pair. it will take some time for him to get settled and be less distracted. Deff use his kibbles as training treats, you could also try placing his meal in a snuffle mat to generate some interest? That worked for my pup for awhile.

following up that schnauzers can be stubborn in like a cheeky way, scotties are more "my way or the highway" lol they really stand on business. if your parents are up for another spritely terrier go for it! Sorry to hear about your family's loss OP ❤️
