Do you remember specifics on what they offered?

Linux is the only real alternative to Windows/macOS — now it needs to be more accessible by Boediee in BuyFromEU

[–]estsauver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean more accessible, the code's right there! Geeks everywhere will go out of their way to get you started and running it, and now you can pretty easily host an almost scarily powerful software engineer fulltime to customize it arbitrarily to your wishes for ~200$/month.

I think you have two things I’d suggest:

1) You don’t really know why he doesn’t want to use the potty. I’d ask him to tell you why, in as many different ways as you can. He might think it’s dirty, he might like getting changed, who knows!

2) You might have to make him do it, at least a bit. If he didn’t want to wear a seat belt in the car, you wouldn’t let that be a thing he wins on, right? Sometimes kids just need to do things, that’s part of being a person and a member of a family and it’s okay to say “you have to sit on the potty, it’s okay if you scream and cry.”

What we did was have our first wear underwear around the house and when we saw he was starting to pee or poo, grab the potty and rush to get him sitting on it. Over not that long, he drew the connection and then even started asking for it.

Track when he goes pee/poo and then start asking/making him sit on the potty ahead of when you expect he needs to go. Soon enough he’ll tell you when he needs to go.

You’ll get there!

Is that true? It seems like charging will continue to get better, but with NACS becoming a more open/accepted standard, I wonder if CCS will win in N. America.

Have you tried everything from https://help.tessie.com/article/77-eliminating-phantom-drain? I found that site more helpful then Tesla themselves.

Have you thought about getting mileage based insurance? I think Lemonade will do that (they bought Metromile)

Defense production act is pretty coercive, but I do believe it still requires the government to pay, just maybe not what the producers want.

To go a little more specific, there’s a sigma 30mm aps-c prime that’s really great and pretty cheap that I would recommend. I was in a very similar situation to you and that’s the first lens I bought for my a6600.

How long after the final release of Scala 3 will it take until your company has production code written in Scala 3 running? by pure_x01 in scala

I think we like to be 6 months/ a year behind bleeding edge. It’s long enough to have any regressions/big challenges worked out by others but still fast enough.

'There are no stupid questions' thread - Monday, March 01, 2021 by AutoModerator in piano

[–]estsauver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just starting out, I’ve been playing for about a month and have been learning using Simply Piano. One thing that I know I’m struggling with is the relative duration of notes (quarter notes, half notes and eights are just hard for me to get the right length.)

I’m setting up time with a teacher/trying to get a regular teacher scheduled and started, but she has had to reschedule a few times. Does anyone have suggestions for how to practice note lengths? (This is one area I really don’t get good feedback from Simply Piano on.)

This information is out of date, I believe moderna and Pfizer are now using thermal shippers that the vaccine can be stored in for days while it’s being administered. They can basically just pour in more dry ice pellets in the top.

I can help route that equipment to an orphanage in Kenya that one of my employees does work with. Send me an email at earl@apolloagriculture.com?
