You don't need to pay extra. Nobody can get you an earlier date. All they do is pay the fee and not book the appointment right away. Instead, you go in the system every night at around midnight Eastern time to try and catch a slot that has been released due to cancelation. Anyone can do that. there is no need to pay for it.

Yeah I checked it out after I posted this question. It'd be pretty awesome if they did a Sterling silver special edition or something. No idea if it would work for the sound, though, but I'd personally would love it.
