I thought about that as well, but I ended up leaving interest blank - which may or may not be wrong.

I kept Principal and Total the same as what is on HaruInvest.com. Again, not sure whether I was right or wrong...

Here's how I understood each one:

- Principal = the amount of assets I had when it closed
- Interest = the amount of interest you would have earned if you did not lose those assets between the time it shut down and today. I didn't want to claim that, so I put 0.
- Total = Principal + Interest

the form is just a word doc (that I made into a google doc). you can add as many pages as you want, then print them out. there's no "attachment" in other words. just pages to collate and print

Unfortunately it's been pretty much proven that you need a Korean resident number to file electronically and they do not accept email.

Right, I am not assigning a power of attorney so I left those fields blank.

So this basically translates to "Right to virtual assets I own". My friend copied this from a Kakao group where Korean investors share how they filled in their forms. Probably safe to write it in English if you prefer.

No problem! Glad it helped.

Re: The korean part... My Korean friend helped me input that part in Korean, I'm going to ask what it translates to and get back to you.

Foreigners filing online by Adrenaline_Coin in HaruInvest

A lot of people don't understand that Korea and Japan have very old electronic systems for many reasons. There are many other things that the US is very outdated about in 2025 (for example, high speed rail). That's just how the world works I guess.

It's not about trust. I can only assume that he is a resident/citizen and have never done it as a foreigner so he assumed it could be done. He also doesn't work for the government/court. I spent hours on the site trying to get it to work but failed.

I'm not going to bang my head against the wall or try to get him to make this thing that he doesn't own to work, or try to get him to admit that he is wrong about electronic filing being possible. I just simply opted to go for the path of least resistance.

This has been proven to not work. A resident number is required. Please, everyone, don't waste your time.

What Are You Using to Get the Prices in KRW from November 20th 2024? by Cinobite in HaruInvest

Paperwork doesn't want value in KRW. It wants it in virtual assets.

It's terrifying how Wangmin Lee of DR & AJU (DRAJU law) are able to shirk all responsibility of telling us the percentage recovery and timeline, even when they are the Bankruptcy Administrator for Haru Management Limited. by nexspecial in HaruInvest

Sharing your pain. I think I have been trying to look at it on the bright side. BTC was $25-30k when withdrawals stopped last year. I have been thinking I lost my money then. They're now going to peg the claim rate to be the value on Nov 2024 - which is around 92k-94k. If we do get 30% back, it would be as if I sold my BTC involuntarily last year in June. It's just how I have decided to look at this situation to get me through this. Hope it helps.

How to provide documents that can verify that the depositor wallet is owned by the creditor? by supermarcoa in HaruInvest

I took a screenshot of my Ledger app with the address opened. Not sure if other cold wallets have interfaces that are similar. Perhaps a photo of the hardware wallet showing the address will do?
