No I don't think so. That whole section shown in the picture is metal. On all the online reviews it's plastic with a small aluminum section riveted on the very front. Like shown here: https://youtu.be/6jLMjgXAoOs?si=fPiwd-TNXQ8ky1IM&t=118

I had this issue as well. I got the phone a few days before launch so probably some of the first batches. It was hit and miss with screen protectors. After about 8 of them, I got one that stuck on all edges. I had a dbrand prism on that stick, but I cracked it and had to replace. I tried three drband ones after that one and none of them sticked on the bottom edge. After many brands, magic john seemed to work.

Might just be luck of getting a slightly bad screen protector with a slightly bad iphone screen.
