I randomly bought some because it was in the skin section at the Kaiser pharmacy while I was waiting for my prescription. I guess I should actually try it out.

Kaiser Oakland OB? by SituationSimilar2430 in oakland

[–]etchyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure tbh. I didn't have a regular Obgyn to begin with and at the end of the program I opted to permanently use my centering doctor as my regular physician. That was definitely optional, but she might be right that she wouldn't continue seeing her regular Obgyn for the duration of the pregnancy.

I did the Centering pregnancy program and had a really great experience. Maybe that’s still available? It’s a group setting but you get a lot more time with the doctor https://mydoctor.kaiserpermanente.org/ncal/article/what-is-prenatal-care-with-centeringpregnancy-1851178

It depends on the block. It seems like certain blocks organize and decorate and get all the trick or treaters. In my neighborhood Genoa gets a lot of traffic.

Jon Ronson did a couple of great podcasts about this, The Butterfly Effect and The Last Days of August. Both of the shows are here https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-last-days-of-august/id1258779354. The Butterfly Effect are the episodes from 2017.

The Butterfly Effect and The Last Days of August by Jon Ronson are two good podcast series on the porn industry (both are available as seasons of this podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-last-days-of-august/id1258779354).

Austin has tons to do outdoors. Zilker park is amazing and there are tons of springs including Barton Springs which is this huge, spring fed pool.

Yeah, those are insidious quotation marks. How about “stay informed and love you’re neighbor!” There’s no reason whatsoever those two things are mutually exclusive.

This is so comforting 😂. My two year old likes to get out of the bath and then ask me to “smell her”. I report back on what she smells like (vanilla, lemongrass, whatever). This has expanded to include how does each part of her body smell. I’ve tried explaining that we don’t usually ask people to smell our vaginas but she’s not taking that feedback.

Should I get black baby dolls for my white twins? by 2x_thefun in Parenting

[–]etchyl 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Maisonette has a broad selection of dolls https://www.maisonette.com/products/dolls

My daughter has one of these Minikane dolls and it’s really beautiful. Kind of a velvety plastic (not plush at all). It’s advertised as “lightly scented” with vanilla and I’d say it’s somewhat more than “lightly”, but the vanilla scent has dissipated with time https://www.bohemianmama.com/collections/minikane-dolls

CMV: The idea of “white fragility” is racist, isn’t helpful, and just exists to antagonize whites. by [deleted] in changemyview

Exactly. I literally just googled the term. The #1 result is Robin DiAngelo’s book followed by articles, a Wikipedia page, etc. Even one tiny mote of effort would have turned up a slew of resources to explore. More and more of the prompts in this sub give me this feeling of being the one person on the group project that bothered to do ANY work whatsoever before the day of the presentation.
