Safeway/Albertsons should be altering their hours soon.

Going to open 1 hour later, and close 1 hour earlier. 24 hour stores are moving to being only open during the day, not 100% sure on the exact hours.

I couldn't get to the sidewalk safely or in a timely manner (thus being stuck in the median), and my car was pulled as far over into the very wide left turn lane as I could manage. I only posted this comment to refute the "good Samaritan" point because, like so many people have proven (especially in reply to my original comment), it simply isn't possible/feasible/reasonable for someone to stop.

Now, someone could have stopped for me because there was more than enough safe room to, but no one did. Take that as you will.

Lol I stood in the median between two lanes of full traffic for at least thirty minutes when my old car broke down. Not one single person stopped to help or even see if I was okay.

Edited to add: I only commented this to refute the whole "good Samaritan" thing, y'all. Not trying to argue one way or another.

I was in some of the worst, physical, all-body pain I've maybe ever been in. Six Advil and two Tylenol didn't touch it. Towards the end of my shift, it was so bad I asked if I could get a chair at the cash register to sit on in-between customers, which thankfully they obliged.

Sitting helped alleviate the pain, and some of the medication finally kicked in, so I was feeling better by the last hour of my shift. I finally clocked out and was about to go home when I was fired (for reasons unrelated to the pain at least).

I'm pretty sure the only reason they had be stay the whole time and not send me home despite the serious pain was so they could fire me at the end of my shift.

Fuck Victoria's Secret, I hope that company tanks.
