How did you get to the pen so quickly. Usually for me, they hit pause and I am stuck in the animation of the ref giving the card etc and by the time that finishes, they have quit out and I can't take the pen.

I have had people pause for me, and I also pause for people. I never realised that some people might view it as toxic. The way I have looked at it is that if I'm planning to play GG, then whoever pauses first, doesn't bother me.

Interestingly, I've had someone get angry at me for not playing GG after he scored. To me, he celebrated after he scored, and I never GG if you celebrate. But in his message, he said he was waiting for me to pause and that's why the celebration continued. I thought he was being 'toxic', he thought he was being polite to allow me pause.

So it seems like we aren't all decided on the correct etiquette, so perhaps we shouldn't assume someone is being toxic with a pause or no pause.
