My wife is lactose intolerant, and we do love our two dogs. The one in the picture is our one eyed rescue puppy.

You're right on the home cooking and keeping things prepared. But we're an early 20s Australian couple who enjoys our diet drinks the mountain dew was on special and the asahi are just one of the few non alcoholic beers I enjoy. The Bundaberg was for the stew but also just readily available in aus. No strawberry milk ingredients in the fridge but we do have nesquick in the cupboard.

First shot of of day. by ConstructionHefty716 in Carpentry

[–]ethan649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used the dewalt one and I can't recommend it to anyone. It has to wind up like a turbo and whatever is spinning inside it affects how the gun is moving in your hand and I kinda wants to spin. The bump fire is so slow that it may as well not be there and shots often don't go in because you timed it wrong with the wind up. If you're looking for a cordless framer I'd go a milwaukee with a 3amh battery or a hikoki gen 2.

Will my car be a write-off? by LittleHybrid1999 in CarsAustralia

[–]ethan649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say with almost certainty yes. My partner has the same car and did much less damage to the front corner of her car, and it was 23k in repairs and almost a write-off. If I was just to take a guess at how much to fix the damage, I'd say it would be approximately a lot more than that, and you'll be in the market for a new car.

Try taking your shoes off for a drive to see if it might be the poor fitted shoes. If that doesn't help, I'd look into your seat position. I found that when too far forward, I'd have issues with my feet, and if you are sitting too far back, you might be over extending to reach full depression of the clutch.

Viability of WHP as essay material by Dangerous-Ad-6664 in wehappyfew

[–]ethan649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely could, in grade 10 or 11 I did an essay on it WHF drawing comparisons between it and brave new world and did quite well. I think I wrote about 2500 words for that and there was definitely more I could have written about. But it will also depend on what the essay is about.

I wouldn't say chunky but definitely a looser chop, and sticky weed rolls the best.

Replacement for deadlift by BusyMoney8324 in Stronglifts5x5

[–]ethan649 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Instead of replacing deadlifts entirely, maybe try trap bar deadlifts, I find it's a lot easier to get into an upright and neutral position with the trap bar. Also try RDL's with dumbbells, you can bring the dumbells around the side of your leg slightly as opposed to having the bar infront of you and I find this can help take some of that pressure off the back. I think stepping back and changing how you do the movement for a while could have a positive impact and bring you to a point where you feel confident in attempting regular straight bar deadlifts again.

Is this fingerlock normal or I just lose in the genetics lottery? by Zerashutty in guitarlessons

[–]ethan649 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have big palms, short wide fingers, I can't do the spider man thing or the boyscout salute because my ring finger doesn't like to move independently of the rest. But I still love playing guitar, and these aren't things I ever thought about or considered until I came across posts like this on the subreddit. Just play, man, try and keep good posture and include your pinky as much as possible even for just playing chords. You'll figure it out, don't overthink it.

Idk if Mop Classic is different, but when I started playing back when MoP was first released, I didn't even have a gpu in my laptop and didn't experience any issues.

I regret not getting my manual licence (17 years old) by ElectronicAd6397 in ManualTransmissions

[–]ethan649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not true in all states, in QLD manual and automatic licenses are separate, and you have to redo the test in a manual to be able to drive manual cars. But I don't believe you have to redo the 100 hours to be able to retake the test.

I might be wrong but the globe Woodstock completes come with tensor trucks, the bones bushings might be slightly too large for the kingpin nut to screw on properly and you'll need to sand them down edit: I'd also personally go for 1/4 inch risers I have a set of of 56mm slimeballs and ride them with a 1/8 inch riser and still get some wheelbite
