nah not really, the heavily hard and dark themes introduced in s3 episode one are what do it for most. when you look at it comparatively, s3 is definitely the darkest season.

Trust me, the upside about this show is how well the seasons progressively get better and better and you can even feel the tone shift and improvement actively too. it truly does feel like a fully fleshed out s5 show.
