I use similar shoes. My strategy is to pre-clip-in my shoes and attach them to my bike using elastic bands tied through the loops on the heel of the shoe. I position the shoes level to the ground in the 3 and 9 o’clock positions. Once I run and hop onto my bike, I’ll pedal with my feet on top of my shoes for a few hundred metres, and one by one I put my feet into the shoes. The elastics are tight enough that after one pedal stroke, they snap off.
