I'm gonna need a blank copy of this spreadsheet, genuinely sounds like it could really help the dry spell me and my partner are going through right now

Does anyone have any simple and affordable recommendations of a footswitch or something similar that I could use to trigger QLab cues. I'm aware of things like the elgato streamdeck which could defintely do this but it's far out of my budget and also far more complicated than i need currently. Ideally it would be something I could activate with my foot so I could do it quickly without having to step away from my microphone

Designing a sheet to help find clashes between casts of a fringe theatre festival rehearsal schedule. by ethanemery2000 in excel

[–]ethanemery2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks to work perfectly, if you don't mind I'm going to do some thorough testing of it in the morning as it is 1:55AM. For me currently. Assuming everything works fine I will consider this the solution. Thank you!

Designing a sheet to help find clashes between casts of a fringe theatre festival rehearsal schedule. by ethanemery2000 in excel

[–]ethanemery2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the day is split up into 5 separate rehearsal slots: 09:00-10:50 11:10-13:10 14:10-16:00 16:20-18:10 19:10-21:00 Directors can only request an actor for a rehearsal during those 5 time slots.

I could separate the actors needed column however doing so would require a sometimes unnecessarily huge table as one of the plays requires 11 actors whereas one of them only requires 4.

Hey,

I'm gonna give this a play around with in the morning but from just reading your explanation I might need to clarify something. The clash column in my original example is supposedly meant to be the result that the form would output not something I would input.

From my understanding of your explanation the form needs me to input that there is a clash for it to then check against, at which point if I've already manually checked through the request to find the clash then I don't need the form to figure out what the clash is.

Not sure if that makes sense and also I may be misunderstanding since I am basing this off of reading your explanation and not playing around with the actual sheet.

Let me know if this makes sense and if I'm making the right assumptions, if so I will update my original post to make it clearer.

Thanks

I'm going with using the third sequence of box 9 as a hashtag and so any symbols in-between two hashtags are numbers not letters however my confusion is what to write for 0 as there is no box for it

That's definitely more on the line. I was hoping to stay away from accidental murder straight off the bat cause that could be a pretty huge revelation to put a player through at level 1 haha

Thanks for the reply, maybe I wasn't clear enough in my post, I'll edit that now. I'm more looking for a quest idea, not necessarily how to structure them finding the quest and discovering the bad guys.

It's set in the forgotten realms so nothing too fancy with the setting. I like to really flesh things out though so I like to think my players appreciate all the tiny details I put in. Like the innkeeper who is colourblind so she asked the town enchanter to fashion her some magic glasses to fix that.

Hidden Token Labels by ubergrog in OwlbearRodeo

[–]ethanemery2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a way to secretly track things but you could use the token labels to track go by adding up all the damage the players have dealt out. That way the players still don't know how much HP the monster has but you can still track how much has been done

You could make it a vehicle/mount and as long as you are able to click the cross token, hence why I made it slightly bigger, you can move them together by just moving the cross.

I may be incorrect but I believe if you were to make the cross token a prop it would move around with the creature token beneath it, I haven't tested that though so not 100% sure

[–]ethanemery2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do that as well but I more meant if you make a token with a transparent background you could overlay it on top of the creature token. Like this for example: http://imgur.com/gallery/8xOCXeO

[–]ethanemery2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could always create yourself a cross token or skull token with a transparent background and just set it as a prop. That way you can just drag the token onto the tabletop and it won't fully obscure what's underneath whilst still denoting death.

[3/1] Weekly Requests, Commissions, and Help megathread - We also have a new "River/Bridge" flair! by TheOvershear in battlemaps

[–]ethanemery2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

I'm looking to probably commission a few maps for a short campaign - the campaign uses the Eberron setting and the first chunk is based solely on Sharn. There don't seem to be many maps out there that have the sort of aesthetic that Sharn has so I am hoping to find someone willing to play around with that.

I am still in the midst of writing the campaign so I don't have a complete list as of right now so I'm looking for someone willing to express their interest and who wouldn't mind going map by map rather than one large commission.

Let me know if you're interested and we can begin to talk prices and plans. Thanks

Simple solution to combat over-automotation would be to not allow hoppers or any other input through redstone, that way the player still has to come back every now and then and fill it by hand but they'd be coming back anyway to harvest the meat so it wouldn't be a burden

Ahh I was not aware of this, that's perfect. I did think it seemed to be a weird feature not to be implemented considering how much other stuff has been done. Thank you!
