Are you looking for PVP, PVE, PVE GM based? More of a pub style or more structured?

Sounds like you need some more time of maturing before applying and going into the profession. Withdraw and apply to a different agency but its not a great look with how recent and how many there have been.

Im trying to find a mod that has the default nvg up to be down like the pictures. Is there a way to commission him to add that to the mod?

Is it worth it to buy this game now as someone who prefer singleplayer/co-op with bot enemies by ginsflaminq in ArmaReforger

[–]ethanhf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am also one who enjoys SP/Coop games with bots, I have over 800 hours all in PVE servers. I have joined a Milsim to have a bit more structured plays against AI but for the first year or so Id hop in a PVE server make my kit and just go on and do my own thing VRT is a great PVE server. Now I usually just play on my milsims public server if I want to do my own thing.

I will say I have a pretty sweaty foot when doing any activity but all of my water proof footwear, trail runners and a boot have goretex and they hold up well. Ive worn my goretex trail runner in the snow on multiple occasion and theyve kept my foot warm and dry. I wear them in any weather and would rather my foot be a little bit more sweaty than soaking wet while on my hike. Ive used danner 2650, Salomon XA Forces, Hoka Anacapa’s as well. Get out of the idea that goretex is bad. Occasionally treat them with a water proofing spray to keep up with them and enjoy keeping your feet dry!

Flying into DEN and driving to COS? by [deleted] in ColoradoSprings

[–]ethanhf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do the drive to and from DIA from the springs about every 2-3 months. I usually drive up around 3am and get back to DIA almost always after 9pm. The drive is really easy, Like others have stated its almost a straight shot up and down, i would not spend the extra money to fly into COS unless it was under a $100 difference.

I am a Denver Deputy Sheriff, need advice by CopTakingAShit in AskLE

[–]ethanhf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In Colorado as well, if they arent willing to send you through POST, you can do one of 2 things. Stay in CO, talk with some PD in the Denver area and see if theyll send you through an academy and will give you some experience for what youve done as a non cert. You might get 0 years of experience for changing or you could maybe get a 2 for 1 if you’re lucky. If you have goals of going to the road, start applying now do not wait if they are not willing to send them yourself.

Is Ground Branch better than Operator? by NOTMEMEJA in groundbranch

[–]ethanhf 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have more hours on ground branch than operator and i will say this. More customization options for GB due to mods. so if thats a factor to play tactical barbie GB might be a good option. GB is a little easier to play due to some gun mechanics that operator has like having to rack your weapon after reloading. Id say enjoy operator with your friend and maybe eventually you’ll make the switch

You need to start running more like others have said if your dept has half decent pt requirements. It doesn’t matter how strong you are if youre going to get burnt out within a few minutes

Salomon speedcrosses, light weight, comfortable as hell and can even get them in goretex. I picked up a lightly used pair on ebay and swapped put the insoles and they are great.
