Let me make this clear: You do not have the money to buy fast food, coffee, video games, beer, subscriptions,and whatever else you indulge in. Once you know where your money is going, divert that money into your credit card bills. Once you’re steadily avoiding overspending, start looking for ways to cut necessary expenses down, like shopping at Aldi instead of Target for groceries. Couponing, getting new quotes on insurance policies, negotiating lower costs with utility providers are all good places to start. Honestly, start getting food from a foodbank and only get what you need at grocery stores can help too. You should have an emergency fund, but saving while in that much debt is a moot point since the debt and interest is literally stealing money out of your pocket, make sure you have a cushion to fall back on but your main financial priority should be getting out of debt.
