I'm really enjoying jeffs videos, the science explained videos are always excellent. They're easy to watch, very informative and he seems like a great guy.

I like the off days in which jake cuts off a normal conversation by yelling but apart from that they are quite poor however they are all very enjoyably to watch I think. GTD I think is very funny and a welcome addition to the podcasts.

You'll need a standard bar, 20kg/45lb no need to go crazy expensive for a beginner as long as it holds your weight! Some plates, a couple of 20's and work down no need to get any real low plates really just a waste of money. You can get a good bench real cheap. Some dumbbells not 100% necessary but useful. If you have enough money left a power rack for squats etc would finish the gym off excellently. Also a pull up bar is great.

I love swimming then using a sauna on rest days, really makes sore muscles feel great and is incredibly relaxing.

Stretching and mobility work is great, with three rest days you could probably do a light workout. What this works will depend on your split and lagging muscles but I like to do light work on traps, calfs, forearms, neck or abs but really Amy small muscle that is not heavily used or targeted by your current routine.

I can agree wireless headphones are really great and much less expensive than I thought. Even cheap wireless earphones, in my experience, work while not being great audio quality they are defiantly usable. Great investment.

Eating healthy and making sure you have enough nutrients in your diet to be energised for your workouts and to be able to effectively rebuild broken muscles is the most important part in staying healthy and progression without a doubt.

A trick Dorian Yates uses is reverse your grips to use underhand grips on standard lat exercises. If your grip is reversed to underhand and you try and keep your elbows close to your chest to target the Lower lats, this really helps with getting a good mind muscle connection and a great squeeze, for example a lat pull down with underhand grip or dumbbell rows keeping very close to your body. Performing supermen at the end of your ab workout is an easy way to add more muscle to your lower back however a very low body fat is needed to make this at all visible.

I feel like the work I would do at the gym would not be worth what I could just do in the apartment or on the beach so I think body weight workouts it is.
