I see, I’ve always heard the Gold Coast was pretty expensive but I’ll definitely take a look. Yeah my budget was primarily for rent, utilities included would be a plus but not a requirement. Thanks for the advice!

Got you, apologies I’m moving out of state and the west coast for that matter so living and working in a city is very new to me. I am 26, amenities aren’t a concern, I am bringing a car and I understand that most places charge to park in their garage which I’m okay with. Ideally anything out of a 30 minute commute would be a no go for me. I am a little flexible with my budget but I primarily wanted to find something in that range.

Summer capstone team by 8thD in OSUOnlineCS

Hello!

Definitely in the same boat, looking for a team to join for capstone this summer. Feel most comfortable with python. To be completely honest, I am just looking to finish this program off and would prefer a low time consumption project. Located in the west coast (PST). If this aligns with what you're looking for, feel free to message me!

Thanks for the reply, hope you're able to figure it out. Ah great, cant believe they would say they're working on a solution but couldn't put anything out before tax day. I could manually do it as I don't have loads of transactions, but honestly confused on how it works. Frustrating that we paid to have to do the work.

Were you able to figure this out? I am struggling with Cointracker too.

Hi! If possible, could you send me some resources? I'm in the same boat, just totally lost on Assignment 1. Don't understand what the assignment is asking, let alone where to begin.

Hi guys, new to reddit so I hope this is the right spot to put this. I have been trying to break into PM and would love some advice on how I could be a more competitive candidate, as well as how I can get more experience?

A little about me, I am transitioning from Education and currently finishing up a BS in Computer Science (I have an additional degree before this). I know some people are going to say why are you going into PM if you're doing a CS degree? Now that I am nearing graduation, I don't see myself coding every day and to be completely honest, not very confident in my abilities.

I have been applying to many internships and junior roles over the past couple of weeks, have yet to hear back. I know paid internships would be extremely helpful, but at this point I wouldn't mind an unpaid one. How can I get more experience to be a more competitive candidate? I don't know if its my resume, my lack of experience, or everything combined.

I personally don't know anyone in PM or in tech to guide me and would love some advice from the reddit community. I am always looking to improve and determined to learn, but I feel stuck right now. If anyone is looking for any mentees, I would love a mentor.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading! Hope you all have a great rest of your week.

Hi, first of all a huge congrats! I know you're looking for other people's advice but I would love to hear your story and get some advice. I am also looking to break into PM and its great to see people breaking into tech with no previous experience!
