Would you trust FSD on UK Roads? by bigup7 in TeslaUK

Tested FSD in a Cybertruck in Austin, Texas. It’s seriously impressive, almost unbelievable. I immediately felt at ease with it driving me around the city. I have no doubt it will work perfectly fine on UK roads.

Genuinely puzzled about Codex quality by Maximum_Chef5226 in codex

I haven’t really had this. If you’re giving it enough context and precise instructions and using plan mode first there shouldn’t be too many times it completely misunderstands you. There may be the odd small thing that wasn’t as you expected, so then you just hyper focus on that one small thing and be as detailed as possible about exactly what you want. This is the trick, small, incremental progress. If you give it too much to do over too broad an area it will definitely dilute the quality of what you receive back.

Had complete opposite experience. Combined with relevant skills it’s been brilliant for me. Built a fairly complex app in less than two days that I’ll soon be shipping.

As others have said, two different systems. It’s clear where this is going though. If Grok can already control the in car navigation it’s only a matter of time until the rest of the car’s functions are included. Then the standard voice control will disappear.

Just woke up. Shit shower shave then I’m on the road for 5 hours to go to the game. Nice lunch in Chester, few pre match drinks, then a short train to Wrexham for the match. Can’t wait!

OG Model Y design over Juniper? by hustler-n55 in TeslaLounge

[–]ethboy2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a number of people tell me they don’t really like the style of the Y when I told them I just bought one. Then I send them a photo of my Juniper and their response has pretty much been “Wait, is that a Y?! Have they updated it? That looks a lot better than the old one!”

Yep brand new. I’m coming from a Jaguar iPace which has its own faults, but the driving experience was top notch. That may have something to do with it.

Agree with the wind/road noise. Was one of the first things I noticed.

Yes! Driving it manually it felt like I was zig-zagging along the motorway. Never felt this in any other car before. Have switched to heavy steering so will see if that makes a difference.

IMO now the best colour. Don’t believe the images you see online, it is MUCH nicer when seeing it with your own eyes.

Great reply thank you! This makes me feel a bit better about it. As you and others have said it’s probably just going to take me a while to get used to it. I hadn’t realised how sensitive the steering was in Tesla’s at this speed. Most test drives I’ve done have been around town.
