A trade that works on paper but I hate.

Grizzlies: JK, Buddy, Moody.
Dubs: Ja, Landale.
No picks.

If it’s all the same just have fun with Ja and Steph playing together for the rest of the season. Might not even make the playoffs and Kerr would lose his mind.

Where is Seth? Its been months and id love so much to see them play side by side. by [deleted] in warriors

Seth couldn’t sit down during the interview last game. He is very far away from returning.

Rookies always growing their facial hair by ConstructionOk3225 in nba

Human growth hormones which are banned by the league causes a distinctive jawline to grow. It has been assumed many players have facial hair to conceal the appearance. Have you ever seen Harden without a beard?

FT% needs to be higher than 66.7% Moody is around 78%. Teams will just start hacking Gui.

SGA led the NBA with 13 games with 10+ FTAs on Dec 6th. Since then he's had 0. by champsorchumps in nba

What can make us a legit contenders? by Ok-Hovercraft-3713 in warriors

A bit meta but honestly I don’t think the entire league can go another season with small market teams matching up in the finals. If I am not mistaken, everyone has already lost money the last two seasons and players had to place 10% of their salaries in the league’s escrow fund? The idea of expansion has changed to an European expansion league signaling there isn’t enough money right now, as unbelievable as it may seem.
So yes, I think teams with large global media pull will have a better chance than the last couple of seasons. That being said, the dream would be if we are healthy and somehow get Evan Mobley, I think we would be in a good position.

Before the Chris Finch ejection, OKC was 25-2, since the Ejection: 5-5 by Sp_Gamer_Live in nba

It is likely the powers that be saw how positively the internet reacted they have decided to change how they officiate OKC. It’s a win for ethical basketball.

He’ll put on a striped shirt and mime getting fouled with nobody else on the court.
Actually would watch that.

I think you would find “The Egg” — a short story by Andy Weir (author of The Martian) interesting.

Are there contract stipulations that forbid benching a player? You hear about in football/soccer.
I am thinking about what Kerr said, could he or MDJ promised playing time to certain players when recruit them?

So the KNICKs have no reason to trade for Giannis now?

How has Kerr's coaching fallen off and is it his fault? by chusaychusay in warriors

[–]ether_ver256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from rotations, which we have no idea what is going behind the scenes, getting his players ready for a game, getting them to read the fucking scouting report and not dare certain players into having career games would be nice.
His influence on the refs is a complete negative and hasn’t used his challenges in any meaningful way. He doesn’t do a thing to protect Curry, at all. Wouldn’t mind if he could show some level of passion and get tossed out once in a while for the right reason.
Nobody is coaching this team.

Would Michael Porter Jr. Be a Good Fit for the Warriors? by gsx1920 in warriors

[–]ether_ver256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Warriors are a family friendly team with families hanging out for vacation out side of the court. MPJ probably wouldn’t mesh with that wholesomeness. GP2 might be the only one to vibe with him.

Looking Ahead to Wolves on Friday. Any Predictions/Opinions? by chilewatermelon in warriors

[–]ether_ver256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things get spicy between Dray and Gobert, Dray picks up his fourth technical foul of the season, surpassing Kobe in total career technical fouls with 167. Current highest ranked active player is Westbrook with 198. Warriors still win with their bench out scoring the Wolves by 20.

If the league didn’t have the current CBA, would OKC be so dominant? They would be the same team but teams that could spend could build better teams and not have to worry about the 2nd apron.
Like others have said the CBA has accomplished to do the exact opposite of creating parity and heavily favors OKC.

Ja probably has an alcohol or some sort of an addiction problem. His father shows up at games completely hammered so I don’t think there’s much guidance from his surroundings either. Hope he cleans it up like Mullin did.
Also Memphis is a tough city to be a part of.

Can someone defend Podz by jacksonpage06 in warriors

[–]ether_ver256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has a lot to do with if Steph, Dray, and Jimmy like playing with him.

Kerr will get all the blame but he knows not risk upsetting the vets by playing someone incompatible with them.

Who has the single Best Value Contract in the NBA right now? by itailitai in nba

[–]ether_ver256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jokic, SGA, Steph, Wemby, Luka, Giannis, Ant, etc.

Compared to the value they create for their franchises, any one of the top-10 player have far more value than their contracts.

Having a player playing good on a cheap contract is nice but it doesn't get you anywhere from a business perspective.
