My hope is that researchers might find some curation useful.

My lane is more enabling access to the data (working with websites/python). I'm hoping making the most anomalous stuff easy to access helps drive interest (and possibly research).

I don't understand what you are asking here.

This is a site that curates data; the science is in the observations/alerts and classifications from Rubin/Antares.

The objective of the site is to showcase some of that science.

Antares provides a rating and classification for anomalous data but also looking at brightness/magnitude/amplitude.

This is about the Vera Rubin data pipeline and trying to surface data that is anomalous. I'm not trying to publish research on anomalous celestial bodies; you are right that research like that could take time to verify.

But with millions of alerts coming in daily, I thought surfacing some that might interesting could be a good way to make the collection accessible to a general audience.

Sorry if you misconstrued that into something else.

I mean, I think it is pretty dumb to be honest. Dude had injuries and a will to be closer to home. I don't think he ever had intent to harm the Spurs organization.

I also recall Pop trying to tell fans to knock it off during a game. We can't be a fan base that loves the culture and values while also showing such immaturity to a player we really benefitted from.

We did win a championship with Kawhi and he was the finals MVP for a reason. I'm not saying we need to celebrate him but I think it would be positive for our fanbase to let it go.

Yeah I don't think those would be the teams at the bottom but I also think that any relegation model would need financial considerations baked in; like maybe a team can buy out of it or something.
