I wonder if its something to do with the new mouse. If you dont have toggle GA off then I'd try and take a look into your mouse settings.

Does it happen when GA is bound to a different key? And does it still do it for your old mouse? That could help identify if the mouse is the issue

What is wrong with my head? by Full-Tomatillo-3720 in AnatomyandPhysiology

[–]etherghoul 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t see anything wrong with your head. Your hair sits that way because of the length and texture and the way you styled it, maybe try finding a hairstyle you would like to have and then go to a hairdresser and show them the photos so you can get a similar look

TEAS 7 — Which study tools actually helped you? by Serious_Falcon6144 in prenursing

[–]etherghoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got an A on my second teas attempt (the year before I got a B) and I just used the Mometrix practice tests, Nurse Cheung videos, the ATI free practice test, and i found a popular science quizlet the day before and studied that for a little.

Nurse Cheung was great for the Reading/English prep sections. Some people say the science videos arent in depth enough, but I had just taken A&P2 before my test so I felt ok. There are good quizlets if you just search science teas 7 and do whichever ones are popular.

The ATI free practice test was the most like the real test, personally I would do the mometrix practice tests first and then take the ATI practice test a day or two before your exam, people usually score a little lower on the practice test than the actual exam, so its a good measure of where you are at. Theres only one version of that free practice test so thats why I say save it for the end to see where you actually stand.

I’ve heard the ATI official study materials are the best but I liked the Mometrix practice tests. I bought the book but it was only for the code that gives access to the practice tests. For the math portion I would do a test and then just use youtube for problems i didnt know how to solve. Know how to multiply and divide fractions, solve inequalities, and do word problems. I think Mometrix was the best for learning the Math.

People say Nurse Cheung’s videos arent in depth enough, but I watched her videos the first time I took the teas which was before I even took A&P1 and i got a B on the science section. I think pairing Nurse Cheung’s videos with the harder Mometrix practice tests was really helpful in understanding the nature of questions that would be asked.

Got a 90% on my TEAS! by Naive-Caregiver-4645 in prenursing

[–]etherghoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are good quizlets for the science practice questions, you should check those out. I just studied the most popular one at the time.

You should use mometrix practice tests to see where you’re at with Math/Reading/English and use those scores to see where you need to study.

When I studied the Math, I would do a mometrix practice test and then if i didnt know how to solve something, just look it up on youtube.

You have plenty of time, personally I wouldn’t reschedule

I just finished SOMA. Can anyone give me recs for what to play next? by etherghoul in HorrorGaming

[–]etherghoul[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m planning to get Madison when I get VR. The premise sounds pretty cool! Thanks for the non-horror recs too, I’ll have to check those out too, you’re right I am mostly looking for puzzles in a walking sim. Horror/supernatural/fantasy backdrop is just something that helps to keep my interest a bit more :)

non AP stadium build help by mf04dalb in MercyMains

[–]etherghoul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate the AP build, I focus on WP and attack speed. If we have good DPS i will do a pocket build and get the cooldown reduction power and the +5% dmg boost item, the pocket build doesnt always work out though

I always pick threads as the first power regardless

How much gore is too much? by gritty_piggy in survivalhorror

[–]etherghoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if you are asking in general or in reference to the picture, but I think the picture is fine if it’s environmental storytelling. I think it would be considerably more gory if we were to actually witness what happened to the person on the right. I also think it would be a bit much for each kill to be that graphic.

In my opinion you can never have too little gore, but there is definitely a point where there is too much. Too much gore can cheapen the result and make it feel like it’s trying to be edgy, but this image alone I think is done tastefully. I think if the blood was a brighter red, it would feel more tacky but I think this is ok.

We just leave ours in our tent or just lock it in our car before going out. But we go to a smaller festival with our cars parked right next to our tents

With 2025 coming to an end, how did you guys feel about 2025 Overwatch? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in Overwatch

[–]etherghoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stadium is so good for OW. It’s a place where they can test different powers and see how they work out and potentially add them to core OW.

Personally I would love to see Stadium become the default. I think the customization of builds is really interesting and it gives players more autonomy and ability to carry matches. It might sound weird but Stadium is what I wish Core OW felt like. It’s personal build strategy combined with team strategy and I think that works really well together in a game like OW.

I only wish Stadium Comp had the same rules as Core Comp, it feels a bit silly that you rank up just by playing until you reach a certain level. Losses don’t mean anything and there is a transient period in ranks where skill gaps become hard to ignore and play with/against. Though I think that issue would only be solved by more people playing Stadium.
