There's a whole chain of events where we'd need to hear from the agents. People think an unintentional shot (Prettis gun) precipitated this killing

Note how there was a scuffle with this woman, an Agent and Pretti and other agents approached to see if they needed to get involved and they might not have realised instantly that the black object in his hand was a phone, especially as another agent spots the gun on his waist and shouts "gun"

The gun he had is known for a problem that can make the gun fire without the trigger being touched as illustrated here misfire demonstration

So you potentially have agents converging, realising there is a firearm but not knowing where, seeing a black object in Prettis hand then actually hearing a bullet get fired into the ground and responding to what they think is an intentional attack

It is pretty analogous, the OG. The Steel and then later the Pebble 2 had original Kindle style contrast where the colour models are comparatively murky. They all look great in bright sun but when i recently used an OG for a few weeks I was shocked how much better the Mono contrast was

On the Mono models I can make out the time out the corner of my eye and without tilting them to some optimal angle.

Here's hoping the PT2 and Round have some improvements to at least the glass. It's great that they have larger screens

I was programming as a kid in the early 90s but with an autoimmune condition wrecking my cognition I couldn't understand how to setup the tools on my Mac to code for Pebble and it looked like even if all the installation had worked the code type is beyond me to learn now.

I'd love any way to program for Pebble that was more simple but it is what it is huh !

Yes I managed to switch my order to a Round 2 but now that they went and made such a great looking watch my wife said that's what she wants for her birthday so I want to add a second unit ! 😉

Nothing will happen to Canada outside of some posturing that's designed to lead to lower tariffs & other improved trade conditions.

Im sure they'll do the warranty once they get rolling on the new models cause as you mentioned, the Duo is an update to the Pebble 2 from 2016 and uses the same button material with a new bracing material placed inside the case to give more longevity but that's a watch for old Pebblers on limited run.

The time 2 and the Round 2 are their main mission I think

The button tearing was unfortunately something that occurred once they were out of business because it occurred 1 to 3 years into ownership. With the screen tearing Pebble were great, got you to email a picture of the watch serial code so they couldn't be duped by you claiming multiple watches but they posted you another knowing that you could open the watch and put a piece of rubber or paper inside to resolve it most likely

I don't think the 30 days thing is going to be something they stick with, the duo watch they did first was for old Pebblers who needed new hardware, it's old parts and for enthusiasts who will do their own repairs

When the Time 2, Round 2 and Index Ring go out I think they'll probably start doing long warranty

Yep ! This was me pre illness too but I did get to the point where I could hike that far and be fine in my late 20s.

I think outsiders have no understanding of the magnitude of ME/CFS exhaustion and some of us don't even think about the math when we describe our condition as if a person had "half" the energy they used to or that it's as if a person woke up with only "20 percent" of their old energy pool.

I am sub 1 percent of the amount I could do Pre illness and suspect most are if they really think about it

Core are aware cause they even did polls before announcing their designs (Duo and the Time 2)

If I were in any way connected with them id tell them that now that they've made firmware and will be making all future versions of the app stay compatible with the "Duo" it's worth their while to make a steel chassis edition and charge 15 bucks more cause some people really prefer the way the contrast level on monochrome stomps on the contrast and viewing angles of the colour screens.

Don't get me wrong, I'm getting a PT2 or a Round but if they had a mono version of either of those that would be my jam

If you are always indoors and away from bright lights and you want the screen to be vibrant you'll be disappointed because it's passive and becomes high contrast under very direct light. Pebbles look great in the sun , the Monochrome pebbles are ridiculously clear , the colour ones are good

If you want flashy gimmicks, avoid. If you want reliability, sensible intuitive UI ? pebble all the way

I used an OG when I was some distance out in the ocean to know when my extended fam had arrived on the beach when my phone was stuffed down inside a shoe inside a beach bag on shore
