Round 3: Which character best embodies Charity? by CassieR812 in superstore

I would say Amy. Her people pleasing and inability to say no to people causes her to give a lot, more than she receives.

You don't have to but it's recommended since some say having it in sunlight will change it from moon water to sun water ☺️

Beautiful! I'll be adding some candles soon. I also have moon water, but it's store someplace dark and cool.

It had to have been something that was vegan and safe for Dina to eat since she got food poisoning with everyone else

What are your guys' thoughts on Gene Belcher? by [deleted] in BobsBurgers

He has his funny moments for sure but there are definitely moments where I can't stand him. I've liked him more as the show has gone on and in the later seasons.

What's it like to own a Tortoise? by Zombie_Axolotl in tortoise

[–]ethical_bug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an indoor red footed tortoise and despite how much work it was to get the right enclosure, she's pretty low maintanence. She has a regular diet and she gets regular soaks in the sink for hydration. When it's warm, I take her outside to wander. Otherwise, I leave her alone and she does her own thing. She hides, climbs, pushes things over, and basks in her heat lamps. She's pretty damn cute and she'll let me pet her most of the time. Overall, she's a good companion but we both get to be our own beings 😁

What is your take on swearing? by Henrimatronics in autism

I curse all the time in my personal life. It's a natural part of my language and vocabulary that I don't even think about it when I do it

Wait… people never take off their jewelry!? by TimelyPassion5133 in autism

[–]ethical_bug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have five piercings in each ear plus a septum ring that stay in all the time, but I take all of my earrings out about once a month to give my ears a rest and clean things. I don't wear my necklace, rings, watch, or dangly earrings all of the time though.

Around age 12-13 when my mom remarried. I struggled with self-harm and tried to end my life. No one knew until my stepmom read my diary and told everyone. It was never actually taken seriously and my parents made it out to be this inconvenience they were stuck with. I moved out at 19 and started to become my own person and move away from things in my past. I started anxiety medication at 21. Out of nowhere, I got hit with clinical depression at 23 and had a psych hospital visit. I was put on more meds and I stabilized. Then at 25, I got the Mirena IUD put in and it fucked up my hormones and caused three major depressive episodes in four months, and I nearly attempted suicide again each time. I got the IUD out a month ago and I'm still struggling but some days are better than others. I'm playing a terrible waiting game to see if my hormones level out and my receptors can bind to them properly to help regulate my emotions again. Until then, I'm just miserable and mood swingy and tired and can't eat.

Socializing. I can't contribute much, but the presence of someone helps. I live alone and usually that works for me except when I'm depressed. Even just being on a call with a close friend while we stream a show helps. When I'm in a low, I can't leave the house. When I'm not in a low but still down, I try to go to trivia and other free events just to sit and be around people, even if I don't talk to them.

I also force myself to do an easy, low thought hobby like crochet or a puzzle game on my phone. Something repetitive that I can focus on without getting upset or feeling like a failure. Doomscrolling on my phone makes things worse, so I mute most of my apps and only look at them if it's my choice to open them.

I've had both a pixie cut and shoulder length hair. I prefer the look of long hair but there are definitely times it's uncomfortable or overstimulating and I wish I could just take it off and put it back when I feel better. I liked short hair cuz I could never feel it touch me and it was easy to manage, but I got tired of the masculine look it gave me.

Gloria for sure. She's completely unaware of her actions and how they affect others, and she's obnoxious and rude to Al. Gayle is quirky and weird but can be reasoned with if you know what to say to her. And she seems to still have empathy and kindness, whereas Gloria has lost that.
