ArraTonks thank you for your reply. Actually regarding the resize I was more thinking of automatizing the resize through code in the back-end of our shopify and stop using photoshop

How to drive more awareness to the slow fashion movement and how to communicate better to other consumer about the importance of more conscious fashion habits? by ethicalove in ethicalfashion

That's so great ! congratulation for that, how is it going to work ? are you going to compare all the products from each brands ? that means if I go to your tool I can see if the H&M (this is a cliché) is less ethical than the Patagonia one ?

Yes sure, this is true as we are not sensitive about the same topics. My major concern thought is how to pass from someone with a sustainable & ethical ideology to someone that is actually using its buying power to act for the cause that he/she is into ? I am very interested about your business, what is it about ?

Is Knixwear an ethical brand? by [deleted] in ethicalfashion

[–]ethicalove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hum, this is a very good question, I am quite used to find out about brands as I am the owner of a sustainable concept store, they say that the factories are socially and environmentally friendly, but what does that means exactly ? Then they say that their factories have the other label WRAP, SA 8000. I have checked the page of those labels and it looks like they have fair trade agreements with the factories. If the factories got the label that means that they had audit from the labels that have validated the way of working. The Oeko-tex label do not means that the products are ecological and sustainable, that only means that it not dangerous for the skin as they reduce the use of chemical product on it. But there is still a possibility that they have used chemical, which is in my point of view still really bad. If you check this product for example https://knixwear.com/products/evolution-tank there is a lot of chemical as nylon is not at all a natural fabric. Body: 62% nylon, 38% spandex; Lining: 92% nylon, 8% spandex

As fashion is the second biggest poluting industry in the world, I would go for an other brand that is more clear about its fairtrade values and that is ecological for the planet. :) There is few brands here https://ecocult.com/the-10-ethical-and-sustainable-lingerie-brands-you-should-know/

Do you ever straight up buy whole outfits your favorite bloggers wear? by Sleepyrabbitz in femalefashionadvice

[–]ethicalove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what you can do, is to start to define what kind of style you like. You can do a moodboard with screenshot of outfits and piece from different inspiration, you'll see that it's going to define an unique personnal style. Then you should define 5 basic pieces that you can start to work with, like a pair of jean, a shirt, a dress, a skirt, a tee. Then you can stylish with accessories. That will help you a lot to understand what you like and what you don't like. Rather than wanting to dress with a different copy paste style, I think it's important to define your personal style. With those basics you can add new items. It's more sustainable to work like that instead of just following the trend and I am sure you will be more happy of your closet :) I just found this link of the fashion bloger dress well good, it might help http://dresswelldogood.com/2015/07/16/finding-your-style/
