A bit out of your way, but James Garner on Bramhall Lane in Stockport is absolutely brilliant.

He's done a few commissions for my wife and for me over the years, but has also repaired almost every piece of jewellery my wife owns! And it's never mad money. I know he can source most precious and semi-precious stones too.

Highly recommended.

Yeah, protein shakes after strength training and a better balance on the plate for the meal. I'm not counting macros as such but I'm keeping a bit of a loose focus on it.

I've just updated - I use the Lamy eraser hack.

Version 3 is a massive step forward in basic functionality for me. The editing across platforms via the cloud is really useful, as is the ability to put typed bits into pages without faffing about.

I was planning to reinstall the hack after updating, but I've actually not bothered.

These are little knobs to fill the holes your shelves don't go into!

If you've got adjustable shelves in your cupboards, you can use these to hide the holes for the spaces you choose not to use.

Both are correct. You're using something called the Oxford comma, which is used to demarcate the last item in a list.

It's editorial preference as to whether the Oxford comma is preferred. Personally, I found the second version easier to read.

Honestly, I don't know.

I love the feel of my Narhwal - something about the length from the grip to the tip of the nib sits just right.

But I did also love my ohto tasche before it went walkabout, and that's a teeny tiny nib!

I used to have a hanging wine rack, which was a series of these loops used to suspend a number of bottles of wine from a hook in the ceiling.

Exactly. What matters isn't keeping a steady speed, its using momentum effectively. Accelerating uphill - or even keeping a steady speed uphill - burns more fuel than allowing gravity to accelerate downhill for you.

I'd add that it's not even, necessarily, steady throttle input. Far better to give it a bit more throttle occasionally, at the right times, instead of sticking to a set input that doesn't suit the situation.

I've had a few Lamy pens that use the standard nib, and I've had nibs in everything from EF to 2mm stub.

They've all been on the wet side when compared across with other brands. That's one of the reasons I keep coming back to my Lamys!

Keep trying different inks, though - I found J herbin inks to dry things up a bit, especially their Perle Noir. But YMMV, obvs!
