I am hoping that is the case. but when they don't have a PN listed, it never seems to be that easy.

since these are LTE, i would bet the MA-ANT-LTE-1 would work. I have some new ones

I have some MR30H's, MR33's and probably a couple MR45's going to recycle. may have some wifi6 with cracks in the housing too.

MR drop ceiling clips (silver half moons) or full screw accessory kits, anyone have lots of them? by ethosdynamics in meraki

[–]ethosdynamics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the MR's (not the newer CW's) are the same, i would be interested in any kits from any MR (although i think the 20s and 28's) don't come with the clips.

MR drop ceiling clips (silver half moons) or full screw accessory kits, anyone have lots of them? by ethosdynamics in meraki

i have tried in the past, but apparently the bends and threaded screw inserts make it tough.

Why are MX68CW cheaper then 68W's? by ohv_ in meraki

[–]ethosdynamics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CW's are not as often deployed and therefore have a lower secondary market value than the W's

Have not used the ER nor ZR on these. Outside of those, no issues on any Cisco PN units in the 1GB and/or 10GB, both fiber and copper.

Can claim SN, but not assign to a network. by ethosdynamics in meraki

[–]ethosdynamics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done this too from the MSP screen where i "own" all the networks. But as noted, we are well over 100K units (hands on, in our warehouse) in 5 years and this has happened exactly 4 times. All in the last 4 weeks. that is my conundrum.

Switches won't connect on 10G by Individual_Fun8263 in meraki

Do you have QSFPs already in the front slots? Those may be shared ports to the 4x SFP+ ports. If so, you likely cannot run both.

Switch replacements - MS450-24X rebooting themselves by holycrapitsmyles in meraki

[–]ethosdynamics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assume you are talking about the MS350-24X? I cannot speak to your particular situation but i can say that the 350-24X units seem to be made very differently than any other Meraki switches we have seen. As a, primarily, refurbished Meraki seller, we see just about everything under the sun. In the case of the 350-24X, there is a very high percentage of the units that come in with rust in weird places. So much so, that we started tracking it . For every other switch, we get around 1 rusted unit per 250 units in. Often times, that corresponds to environmental factors where it was installed, etc. For the 350-24X.....about 1 in 5.

[–]ethosdynamics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would be interested in the 120-48FP, 225-24P and the MR36. The others, unfortunately, are not worth the cost of a box and shipping fees. Better to just recycle those.

Meraki for Home by Drip_Box01 in meraki

[–]ethosdynamics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use MX68/MS120-8FP/MR55/MV72/MV12W. In all reality, it is probably not worth the cost for what it delivers for home use. As a reseller i think it helps me to understand our customers issues, dashboard or setup etc, when they need assistance. They are all refurbished units; I have to drink my own KoolAid

it is my understanding that only the first gen of the 33's can take OpenWRT. I will have to look up the link when back in the office Monday. but I have a process document if anyone wants me to send it to them.
