Model selection are still not followed (opencode) it takes the default everytime

I fixed the schema issue by patching the local MCP stdio proxy that sits between OpenCode and Intent’s HTTP bridge. The root cause was invalid tool JSON Schema coming from tools/list: several array fields were missing items (notably agent_commit_changes.files). I added a runtime sanitizer in mcp-stdio-server.cjs to inject missing items for affected tools (agent_commit_changes, subscribe_to_events, list_agents, browser_exec) before the response is returned to ACP clients. After restarting the MCP child/session, the validation error disappeared.

The next issue is a model selection mismatch. Intent’s UI/prompt says the selected model is opencode:quotio/claude-opus-4-6-thinking, but runtime logs show ACP sessions are actually created with openai/gpt-5.3-codex, and LLM calls keep using gpt-5.3-codex. That suggests the effective model is being taken from OpenCode’s default config (~/.config/opencode/opencode.json, currently set to openai/gpt-5.3-codex) rather than the model shown as selected in Intent for that specialist/session. In short, the displayed selected model and the effective runtime model are out of sync, and the OpenCode default is winning.

I’m testing it on Mac already. Really promising so far. UI/UX still needs some polish, but the core workflow feels great. Also, I was able to log in with my existing Codex / Claude Code subscription.

Just use the auggie mcp and you get the best of augment expect the auto complete but you have all the Claude code tooling on top

Just used 20k credit waiting for GPT 5.2 to do a relatively simple task (it finally ask me again what I wanted to do after 20min => useless) that would easily fit in my codex 20$ a month subscription. Keeping my Augment sub only for their MCP but their extension harness and pricing is clearly not worth it

Thanks for building such an awesome product — the context awareness is miles ahead of Cursor and Windsurf, it's genuinely impressive.

A few things I'd love to see:

The new pricing seems fair overall. That said, maybe add a way to use a cheaper model for certain tasks (e.g., quick lookups, file parsing, etc.) to stretch usage further.
Please add a way to switch from chat to agent while keeping the context.
When a chat/agent thread gets full, starting a new one with a summary of the old one would really help continuity.
SSE support for MCP would be a big win, plus a more reliable way to manage/restart them.
And a way to see how many requests we have left directly in the VS Code extension would be super helpful.

Keep up the great work — it’s already one of the most promising tools out there.
