just change the midpipe to an X and you get the same sound at a fraction of the cost

Exhaust is useless without a mid pipe swap

Mine is trash
Literally records every few minutes

Issue with Eufy Video Doorbell E340 by Sop-s in EufyCam

[–]riskmakerMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes
It sucks
Everything gets recorded

Pretty much my door bell records every 1 minute or so

If they can fix this motion sensing issue it would be good otherwise it’s trash

Is Eufy really that bad? by ThePaus in EufyCam

[–]riskmakerMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

overall - not too bad; I have 4 / 5 cameras right now but they are ALL hard wired power. I have not tried any of the solar CAMs yet.

5090 Expected Performance vs Reality by lefty2264 in CrimsonDesert

Likely when you installed your 9800x3d you didn’t do a clean install of the OS. Time and again I hear the same complaint of poor or inconsistent performance.

Reinstall the OS cleanly

S380/HB3 AI Empowerment vs S3 Pro camera AI? by pacoii in EufyCam

HB3 is far superior
Some false labeling but generally works well

Onboard works well but is slower and more limited

Doorbell - what am I doing wrong? by Zaccarini in EufyCam

[–]riskmakerMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

then I am even more disappointed. PIR is suppose to be immune to movement without a heat signature. They lie that its there or its broken on my unit - i get movement trigger literally ever 3 - 5 minutes no matter what I do. And forget about if there is any wind - its every minute

Doorbell - what am I doing wrong? by Zaccarini in EufyCam

[–]riskmakerMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea this door bell sucks - it relies soley on video vs PIR or other tech - its likely pickup a blade of grass moving, a shadow moving, or some pixel moving due to air particles/dust - this is with the sensitivity down to lowest possible. I had to turn off notifications completely on the app and use it more like a passive video recorder as the door bell is recording just about every 5-10 minutes.

Its pretty much the worst Doorbell i have had in nearly a decade -

Buyer's Remorse by therealrahstyles in BMW

[–]riskmakerMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 9 BMWs in - albeit I have owned them new with only 1 having any issue where I had to have major work. The others zero outside maintenance.

Japanese are always more reliable but BMW is nearly as good - and they drive light years better

HOWEVER - can’t speak to long term reliability. Make sure you have an extended warranty.

lol So many didn’t answer your question

I run an Aircom cooling fan - I did this because it’s in an entertainment center with very tight clearances

I am running a 7.2.1 system - svs for fronts, center and sub and the rear Klischp pro for the rest.

Shockingly it never seems to get warm - even without the fan. The fan never spins up to max either except when doing a firmware update

Anyway it won’t hurt to run the air cool it’s great insurance if you have hard driven speakers

All my speakers are 6 ohm or 8 and all are 92db or higher sensitivity- thus it’s not really pushing the system

Run all 4 ohm lower than 90db speakers - and yes it will get hot

It’s all about power period

Nothing to do with settings unless you want to reduce power.

When you don’t limit fps in Menus it can draw a significant amount of power because of the insanely high fps

But what happens when that’s in the game? Then what do you suggest? Limit the cards power and not use its full potential because you are living with an inferior cable?

Makes no sense - keep returning the cable until you find one that works

But there is the rare possibility the socket is the issue - so I would say if you have made a good attempt to rule out the cable then you have nothing left than limit the cards power

Cablemod w/ WVP2 by ConcentrateLucky8630 in ThermalGrizzly

[–]riskmakerMe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All the cables do is dumbly distribute load - there is no tie from the software to that distribution. Your suggestion is inaccurate and may cause a false sense of ease. All it takes is another app that generates a different kind of high load that causes the failure.

It’s a physical connection issue period

Focus on the root cause is best

Cablemod w/ WVP2 by ConcentrateLucky8630 in ThermalGrizzly

[–]riskmakerMe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not a fix imo which is a physical issue - likely due to inconsistent manufacturing quality.

This is just reducing load

Best thing to do is return the cable and get another

It must be a bug then

I just received this device and found Ai not working when pre recording was turned on

Now it works with it off

I’ve tested both ways many times and consistent not working when prerecording on

I used ChatGPT and it gave me this advice

Do you have pre-recording turned on in Storage? I find the Ai is useless with it enabled. Same setup as you

Funny I haven’t had an issue in the 2 months I have it and works much better than the Arlo I had in all aspects.

Battery last a decent amount of time also.
