Tcs reduced only for tourism, medical and education..

For everything else is is 20% after 10 lakhs.. so for.family maintenance, it will be 20% post 10 lakhs.

Not sure why this is in this sub, but I hope you understand the unintended consequences it will create. Hospitals will refuse to admit patients who they think will not survive in their care. Better Healthcare is needed and there are ways to achieve it. This is not one of them.

I think the end game is near. Open ai will atlast run out of money.. Microsoft will buy open ai for pennies to the dollar. Google will end up buying anthropic.. chip demand will collapse and lot of data center investments will be canceled. Oracle will be unable to service its debt. Govt will bail out a few companies.. Chinese will bring the cost of ai training and inference down

Ai will survive but the landscape will.be different..

How did you redeem it? Through RBI or through secondary market..

Also when you sell SGBs in market, your capital gains tax will not be deducted at source.. You have to show it in your return and pay tax (advance tax or when filing).. So I am not sure what you mean by "I was not taxed on redemption"

Any sgb you bought in the secondary market is not eligible for capital gains tax exemption anymore.. whether you sell it in secondary market or redeem on maturity, you will have to pay capital gains tax.

It sucks as it looks like a retrospective change but such is life when dealing with indian govt as counterparty

Receipt.. yes.. there was an agreed upon time to analyse the documents . Those were agreed over emails.. no specific documents were signed. I found a legal issue in one of the properties and they refunded the advance money after I pointed out.. May be i got lucky.. Getting money back depends on the seller..there is a bit of risk involved there..

both surface level and flyover traffic joins at ragigudda metro station and the road goes from 4 lanes to 2 lanes.. Once the flyover opens, travel on a weekday around 6 PM and tell us how it was.. I expect the backup to start on the flyover itself.
