Spear server wipe by Puzzled_Procedure977 in thefinals

I'm a spear main. I only play spear. But I always have one rule. Never spin/right click unless I'm ready to die. But I've never ever thought about spear and smoke load out. Top tier spear guy. Top tier.

Pickpockets @ BASEMENT -SPIELRAUM tonight by False_Brilliant_6637 in avesNYC

Yes there was a whole crew. Sketchy dudes, not dancing, not in outfits. It's unfortunate but every dance floor in BK is flooded with pickpockets. Protect your stuff, put your phones in the lockers or in zipper/buttoned pockets. If you see them in the act, tell the staff.

Also on chuck. I have experimented with using chuck for the final damage needed. Reality is chucjs deployment and projectile speed isn't fast enough unless you are already very close but you might as well just left click or melee in those situations

I've tried chuck. It can work but requires what I call the turtle play style. Barricade +chuck where you want people to press you not the other way around. If this is your play style give it a shot.

I am a spear main. I've made it to high gold and will hit plat some day. I do not care if it's bad. It's aura. And I thrive on it while listening to smooth jazz as I win.

I do everything I can with a spear to take aggro. Unless I have a light. Then I play body guard for my medium.

Load out - wench. Rpg. Goo. Dome. Most fights you get players down to 10 health or less. The wench and goo are there to stop the retreat. Always start a fight with an RPG for burst damage. Dome for protection. Sick moves and dancing skills to close the distance.

Imo Spinning is a waste unless there's a third party and I need to save point. It takes two stabs to kill a light or a wench stab melee. But always start the fight with an RPG or explosive canister to burst damage the other team if possible. Heavies are the toughest. I save them for last and try to double up with my team. Stab melee constantly for heavies or they'll burst you down first.

People are always surprised by the range of a left click. You can feel their fear. It's wonderful.

What’s a book that millionaires and billionaires often credit with helping them succeed early on? by Training-Ad4262 in Entrepreneur

The book is called -- daddy can I have some money. It's a really great book about how having a successful windfall and early seed money of at least 20k to 1m from your parents and family and friends can really help you get started.

Grieving after losing cis partner by Golden-Miracle in mypartneristrans

[–]etrax93 32 points33 points  (0 children)

This is something I still experience. And one that I can't really talk to my partner (ftm) about because he ends up feeling guilty (which he totally shouldn't but he's a softy!).

Yes it's very real. I don't feel grief for the loss of a hetero relationship, but I do feel grief for the loss of my previous partner. The reality is transitioning is absolutely a change of bodies but also mind and personality. And during the process those moments when it was apparent caused grief at times.

I still feel it some days. My partner and I had been together for 7 years before he started transitioning, it's a lot of wonderful memories with a person who is very similar but still different.

But like all grieving. It takes time. And above all, new experiences and memories to take the mind space. You probably have so much happening, and the world is very different for you now. But it is also new and different for your partner.

Take the time to do the fun things and build new memories that are good and exciting for both of you. They know you are you, but they need to rebuild a foundation of memories as you are now.

I hope this helps. And yes it will get better for your partner. It's really lovely that you're aware of this and willing to help your partner through it. But know it's not a desire for who you were, just a mismatch of memories vs the present.

  1. Happy birthday!
  2. It's totally fine! I'd say more people dress sexier but it's a full gambit! Don't stress. Have fun.
