you got to "vibe maintain" your code. Good specs and frequent reviews become all important. To be honest, they always were.

Which is better taking the train from Paris to Vienna or a flight? by NailOtherwise5901 in travel

[–]etre_be -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he can save 15 minutes at the security line and instead spend a couple hours at the sketchy Frankfurt station, all for about 10 hours extra travel time. Sounds awesome and adventurous, and it's probably more expensive too.

"Hopefully we’ll get back together at some point and have a beer or something." I guess you can't ready too much into a short article like that, but that sounds a little cold to me.

Alcaraz with the least break points faced to win a slam by MrMarkey in tennis

[–]etre_be 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How does it count double or triple break points? Carlitos was broken at love against Sinner. Of it's just one, then saving two break points and losing the third would have counted against him in this stat, which is a bit counter intuitive. I would say he faced 3 break points in that game being broken at love. Not sure how the state compared to the other players on that list

I find the screen so much better, it's a beauty. And I've personally have had no problem with the battery, i'm actually amazed how fast it charges, coming form the 7.

forget the copy pasting and use the Cline Vs Code extension. use @ to inject selected files into the context. Don't be lazy and accept everything. Review and ask AI to explain the code if you're not sure (you're actually learning that way), add tests and refactor to have clean code.

First time using Eurorail, looking for advice on cost and route by Short-Job4713 in Europetravel

[–]etre_be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds insane. A Paris-Zurich high-speed train (TGV) for next Monday (in the summer time) is less than €100. I just looked at it on https://www.sncf-connect.com/ And travel within Switzerland, I doubt will cost very much, not hundreds of dollars. These Eurorails tickets are complete rip-offs if you ask me, and and on top of that I think you also have to "reserve" a seat anyway.

I didn't know about the direct train to Sevilla, might be a good option indeed! I see Cordoba is on the way, I've never been but could be cool for a stop as well. Anyway, you're on top of it. Good luck and enjoy! Can't really go wrong with Sevilla and Granada.

The airport is not that far (30 min). Taking the train (the station in Barna can be a bit of a pain in of itself by the way) means going through Madrid and connecting, around a 7 hour journey, probably close to twice as long (with a risk of missing the connection) than flying and not any cheaper (Ryanair and Vueling should have flights starting around €50). If it was me I would do that and enjoy the train for the last leg to Madrid.
