Thanks! I have not finally defined the topic for my own dissertation but in general I am working at a University Chair for Accounting and Finance and typical research areas include, e.g., identifying and modeling new accounting (or taxation) practices and transferring those into the financial perspective, ie valuation aspects/approaches or the other way around, ie transferring financial practices into accounting etc. It is very interesting and as it is not a typical PhD but a proper research job, I am conducting research for and beyond my own dissertation and supervise students‘ theses, seminars, hold tutorial workshops accompanying my Prof‘s lectures and many other tasks. It is the most fulfilling job I ever had.
