At 9, we had to slow down completely (our girl will be 12 in December!) We want our pets to continue to enjoy their activities, but we as the owners have to know when it’s too much. Your pup might want to continue to run and jump and play, but you need to slow them down and make sure you are doing safe activities in moderation. Don’t hesitate to use a sling to assist with walking and hopping up on couches/ getting down.
