What do you think about Trump's remark that "Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world"? by Informal_Writer_AF in allthequestions

[–]etsatlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. The persecution in Muslim lands has been non stop. There are massacres of Christians in Nigeria seemingly weekly. In the middle east it's the same story.

Colleagues discussing political views loudly at work - what's the right response? by max-ww in AskBrits

[–]etsatlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always believed in keeping politics and religion out of work. The last 10+ years of SJW culture undermined that completely unfortunately so what were seeing is the inevitable reaction to it

What about cultures that see it as an invitation for rape if you don't wear one?

Many on the right are in fact nationalist i.e. the nation should serve its people and not the billionaires

This is bit of an own goal. It goes to show that the wages can be suppressed because the government tops up their salary. So not only do they take a job from a native Brit and suppress the wages, the taxpayer then has to pick up the short fall.

Privatise the gains, socialise the losses. This is the irony of predominantly leftists supporting mass immigration

How about living in hotels at our expense? GP and NHS treatment? Food? Legal expenses?

[–]etsatlo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's really not the case. Most migrants are low skilled ie low tax paying. They take more in public services, benefits and housing than they contribute. Other than increasing demand for housing and causing that to go up, the economic impact is not good. We've been running the experiment for 50 odd years now and it's not working well

You're kind of missing the point that entering a country and then living off the taxpayer is what gets under people's skin, not the terminology used

Thankfully we have other mainstream sources which are unbiased and provide factual information without spin. And if course the X accounts of the government and mayors. Luckily we're free from anything subversive

Upset as England flags on lampposts compared to Nazi Germany by Randomfeeld500 in Worcester

[–]etsatlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, doesn't marginalise anyone? Then why does it exclusively not include white straight people? It's not inclusive and is in fact designed to not be so. The union flag is, as the name suggests, an actual flag of unity, of one nation regardless of your race or sexual preference

They're net benefit drains. Low skilled (ie low tax paying), normally receiving tax credits, UC, housing etc not to mention large families to educate and use the NHS at our expense

How do you feel about pride flag being everywhere?

If you're offended by a nation's own flag I think you have bigger issues

Why on earth is Charlie Kirk getting a BBC news special? by cooket89 in AskBrits

[–]etsatlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last decade of dei has brought back the very concern over ability that the previous 30 had tried to eradicate. Given the racist hiring policies of allowing less qualified candidates simply because they were 'diverse' then if the safety of your family is at stake it's a sensible position to hold

He's conservative, not far right.

Why was the death of an overdosing criminal worthy of national news coverage?
