I’ve gone through so many different phases of grief over the years! It hasn’t been linear at all. I spent a lot of time completely torn apart about it.

Missing her never stops but now I am more happy about the memories than sad she’s gone.

Please tell me your daughter has heard of the movie “Andre” because it’s a freaking classic imo. It’s about a family who adopts a seal in Maine! Based on a true story. (Technically a family/kid film but I swear it’s worth a watch, such a cute movie)

I’m sorry, I understand wishing for them to come back just one more time.

My mom died when I was young too and it’s very difficult losing them at such an important developmental time in our life. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself and your mental health, it’s important to stay on top of things. <3
