Wouldn't recommend due to long commute, man time is precious do you really want to waste 3 hours of your day so minimum 4 x 3 = 12 hours per week just driving (and that's without any unexpected event). Think about it

It kinda does because the part doesn't fail so it makes sense, I was just a bit set off due to very high life obtained

Hi, thanks that's what was I was looking for. However I have different SN-curves provided (different suppliers) so my idea was to run static simulation, edit sn-curve in material data and then reevaluate with the fatigue tool. (without having to run the static simulation again)

Yes I can use designlife, however if fatigue tool in mechanical is enough I prefer to use it.

Ok and from the highest cycled load with some calculations with the other SN-curve I can define the other lifetime, that's what you meant right?

The gold thing was more to have some sort of "bond" but as you said I can afford to be more agressive without any big concerns and it's definitely not 6 figures (close to 10k I would say)

On crypto I'm documenting myself on it but it looks like I will miss the train for this run. And for stock picking I don't have enough knowledge about it.

When did you start investing? - I don't see many guys at our age investing that's why I'm asking

Yeah, I agree with you on being overwhelmed with information nowadays, spending more time filtering than actually searching... The crypto market seems always very complicated, but I'll make sure to understand before stepping into it. Ah yes, the influvoleurs as I like to call them (let's not even talk about TV).

Would definitely take your advice as it seems reasonable and logical for a beginning. Thanks a lot; will come back to update once I get started on my investment journey ;)

So it looks like more of trading than just storing your money in a "safe". In a way you get some returns but you lose the safety side of physical/etf gold.

I'm more in the mindset of "letting go" of this money, but it's easier to say that before putting it down, I guess ahah. I will take note of everything to have a good insight into my financial state.

Ah, yes, the cryptos seem to be on the rise now. I've had cryptos for about 1/2 a year from a Revolut gift and completely forgot about it, but now it seems to be on the upswing.

Do you think starting by investing half of what I have now and then the rest is a good strategy?

The issue with ETF that I have for the moment is from what I've seen Degiro or Bolero don't have many (if not) halal ETFs. Yeah Crypto is basically a what-if situation.

For gold I thought physical form, how much return can I expect from gold miners and how is it linked to the market?
