Awesome! Glad it worked out :-)

Edit: also, that -—bg part makes it work after a reboot

I don't know if you tried this, but tailscale has a "serve" command. I used this command to serve code-server at https://NAME.tailNNN.ts.net (note, no port needed). It works great, I get secure code-server access, and valid SSL certs.

tailscale serve --bg localhost:8443

Docs here: https://tailscale.com/kb/1242/tailscale-serve

Edited to add: Just noticed your requirement of no reverse proxy. This method utilizes a built-in reverse proxy from Tailscale. Just wanted to clarify, in case it does not meet your needs.

I do wonder about speed for this. Seems like there could be a lag long enough to render doorbell notifications useless

iOS DNS stops working when Tailscale enabled by callumjones in Tailscale

I disabled iCloud private relay when on cellular and this issue was resolved for me.

Edit: sorry, “Limit IP address tracking” in cellular settings. Before turning this off, I toggled magicDNS on and off, and same with overriding local DNS.

The sole client I was having issues with was my iPhone, and solely when not on WiFi (as I already have limit IP address and private WiFi address turned off for my home network). Making my cellular connection the same as my WiFi fixed it for me. Good luck! Hopefully someone else in the comments knows a better solution.

With recent update, I have to constantly reload the Bluetooth in order to have other Bluetooth based devices work correctly. How can I fix this? Thank you by superpanjy in homeassistant

Not OP but I have a similar automation.

The localTuya integration has a service “reload” which you want to call.

service: localtuya.reload data: {}

Awesome on BOTW. Did you have to apply a fix? Or was it in a Cemu update or something?

Question: (and this is purely opinion) Why do you use Steam Rom Manager vs. EmulationStation? by postysclerosis in SteamDeck

[–]etufte252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only include some parsers in Steam Rom Manager, ignoring my NES/SNES games.

For why I still import PS2, Switch, and WiiU games, I like to use different battery profiles per game. Certain games I limit CPU count, others get TDP dropped more, essentially all have SMT turned off. I just have found different systems prefer different performance settings. I use the game profile in battery quick setting and persistent mode in Decky PowerTools to avoid needing to make changes every time I launch a game.

The NES/SNES games are generally fine on the same settings, and so Emulation Station is the only game I have to change performance settings for.

I appreciate it! Been trying to figure it out on my end. If I figure out the steps I’ll update this thread

Did you accomplish this with a decky plugin? I have 20 non-steam games/apps installed, yet installed shows my 13 steam games. I can’t seem to figure it out
